Hezekiah Jones is also their child but he was born AFTER 1850.

THIS IRA E. JONES would have been born around 1807. The woman he married was LUCY WINGATE. THIS IS NOT the IRA E. JONES born later in 1869.

I am INTERESTED in IRA's PARENTS and his daughter MAHALA. Mahala married an unknown BALLARD/BELLAR. Her daughter's name was Mary Florence Victoria Bellar/Ballard. A family member has the papers and some names are listed as Ballard others Bellar. This paper was proof of birth so she could get her SS #.

Ordie W. (Jones) Hanson

Ordie W. (Jones) Hanson, 77, 1201 East C, died at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday at his home.

Born Nov. 27, 1899, in Rich Hill, Mo., he lived in Hutchinson 53 years. He was married to Minnie Anne Blocker Aug. 7, 1920, in Hutchinson. A shoe cobbler, he retired in 1965. He was a member of the Eastwood Church of Christ and the ReddiComm CB radio club.

Survivors include the widow; son: Virgil W. Jones, Sr., 1620 East 8th; daughters: Mrs. Leonard N. Carroll, 702 Westside Villa; Mrs. D. V. McLaren, Wichita; Mrs. C. W. Steen, Westminster, Calif.; Mrs. Don C. Moore, 308 North Chemical, 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Eastwood Church of Christ; Rev. Haun Kite. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home.

Looking for info on Logan family of Alabama if any of you may be connected. Alice J Logan 1872-1907, daughter of Bloomfield W Logan, married a William H Gates in Franklin, AL. They had five children. Then around 1908-1909 married a Elizebeth Jones 1872-????.She already had several children and then had one or more with William.
If anyone has come across this info. it would be a great help to me if I could confirm it.

My Afr-Amer. gg-grandfather was born in Georgia around 1846. His mother's birthplace was listed as being in NC. Andrew lived in Live Oak,FL and was married to Amanda (maiden name unk), also born in GA, around 1847. One of their sons was my g-grandfather Louis Jones, who was born in Live Oak, FL. One of his sons, was my grandfather, Rev. Henry Jones. I think Live Oak is in Suwannee co.

If anyone has any leads to Andrew's parents' names or any siblings, I'd appreciate it.

My Afr.-Amer g-grandmother was the wife of Louis Jones, who lived in Live Oak, FL. She was born in Sept. 1886 in Madison (county?) Florida, and died in March, 1920. According to my grand-aunt (Margaret Jones), Addie's middle initial was "C." I don't know if this was her middle name or maiden name, and my aunt is deceased.

Another one their children was my grandfather, Rev. Henry Jones. Can someone point me to finding out what my grandmother's initial stands for? Thanks.

For many years I had followed the wrong line, and now that I know a little more,I can not find anything else.

I would love if anyone could email me pictures.
There is Indian in the family. I dont know if it comes through the Jones,Tuttles,Lightfoots?(I have found only English in the Lightfoot family thus far).
The Indian is Miami, like my cousins out west have said, but I do not know where. My uncle told me that Blackfoot is also possible. He told me this when I was investigating my family tree. And the Cherokee has been said in the Platz families.
I would love to do a DNA test, though that is expensive. I have honestly been looking since I was 11, now I am 45, and it has been a long road, and I only got thus far from other distant family replying. I am so thankful for family.
People may think this is useless and not of any use to a person, but it is to me. I love my family with all my heart, and I would like to find out where they came from.
My grandmother gave me all of my grandfathers names. She was the biggest help, and she was accurate. She is the one who told me that I do have an Indian,English and Dutch culture.
There is a "Darlin Tuttle" possibly involved somehow. I dont exactly know how.
Please, I ask with all my heart for your help.

Joseph, born 1675 in Somerset. He married a Kathrine (no other details. He had a son Joseph born in in 1708 and married Leticia Werret who was born in 1711. The Jones family appear to have spent the whole of their lives in and around Chilcompton including Midsomer Norton and Radstock. If anyone recogises them, and can offer any information as to the missing Joseph, I would be very grateful.

I am interested in finding a descendant of Lewis A. Jones from Barbour Co, AL. He may be the oldest son of John A. Jones. Lewis is with the family in Barbour County in 1850, but by 1860, he is no longer there. His father may be John A. Jones who returned to Stewart County Georgia by 1860. By 1870, the family is in Panola County, Texas where John's second wife died by Dec 1871. John was evidently not well because he had the estate appraised at that time. I am not positive this Lewis is the same who was John's oldest, but the county of residence makes me feel it is. I'd like to share and see if this might be kin.

Maggie Myrtle Johnson was born 28 Mar 1876 in Richmond, MO and passed away 11 Jan 1952 in Greenfield, Dade Co., MO. According to her Missouri death certificate her father's name was Tom Jones.

Maggie Myrtle married John Wesley Johnson in 1896 in MO. They had the following children:

Seeking information on who the parents of Mosias Jones that died in 1796 in Pittslyvania County, VA. Who did he marry?
His will lists a Lydda Clarke, but i do not think that was his wife, believe she might been his caretaker.

This Mosias Jones had a son named Buckner Jones (married Nellie Wilson) and daughters, Susannah, Martha, Dianitia, Elizabeth (James), Mary (Nance), Nancy (Lee), and Wilmith(Massey) Jones.
I have a transcription of his will.

Any documented proof on who his parents are and the name of his children's mother would be appreciated.

Susannah Jones was Born 1788 and died 1830. She was married to John Lumsden (1790- 1830) and they lived in Jasper County Georgia. Having difficulty finding her parents. I believe her father is William Jones but no proof as of yet. None of the listings have Susannah as his daughter. I believe Susannah was from Virginia just like the Lumsden family was and I believe it was in the Franklin County area of Virginia. If you have any information about Susannah Jones Lumsden's side of the family, that would be great.

Just posting this to see if there are any new desc of one Thomas Fletcher Jones (1825 TN - 1899 Hopkins Co, TX). Thomas and family were in Montgomery Co, IL in 1850 and in Hopkins Co. in 1870 and beyond. Thomas served in the TX 23d Cav during the Civil War. He married Rebecca E. Williams; then to Mary Jane Burns after Rebecca died.

Seeking information on the parentage, spouse and family of THOMAS MARION JONES (ca. 1809 – 1877), who was County Judge for Calloway County in the 1860-70 period; he was also for a time a senator or representative in the Kentucky legislature. He is in the 1850, 1860, 1870 Calloway, KY censuses in the City of Murray.

I understand that there is a write-up on this family starting on page 62 of the book: “The Joneses of Kentucky’s Calloway and Marshall Counties, 1820-1910,” but, being far removed from Kentucky, I doubt seriously that I will be able to obtain a copy of this scarce book. If someone could do a lookup, I would be most appreciative.

hi i'm trying to see if any one may have any more info on well the both of them you see thay well are my g-grand pas parents i have been working on this now for some time and well from what i have been able to put to getter as to well this part of my family tree is this going back from what info i have found so far my g-grand pa was john b bowen his wife was nellie green (her family was from navrrno co. tx )from the family info john was said to have been born in tenn in 1870 but come to find out fromthe 1880 census takeing in coffee tenn he was born in 1871 his parents are listed as wesley bowen born abt 1847 al ,martha born in tenn other children's names james w bowen born abt 1879 william bowen born abt 1872, robert l. born abt 1876 . i did find a james wesley bowen who was born in tenn in the year of 1878who well did live in navarrno co. tx and welli did also find his grave info as well hes in rose hill cem with this info i found some more info on well his mother and dad but thay had his dads name as john not james and well his mothers name list as mary martha (jones) bowen and well there gravs are in praiie grove cem in emmett,tx that is also part of navarrno co. tx as well i also found william henry bowen who also was born in tenn and grave info found in navarrno .co tx his parent was listed as j.w. bowen he's grave site is also in the same place as marthas and wesleys also found some other info as well on them any how my g-grand pa well he died of clbic acid poisoning in 1911 and well if any one has any more info i realy love to find out more thanks

Looking for information about this Jones family from Wales via England. They later moved to Omaha or somewhere else in Douglas County, Nebraska.

William Daniel Jones and Elizabeth Ann Williams, both from England.

They had 10 children, all in Llanellen, Abergavenny, Mon., WLS except the last one who was allegedly born en route to America. I have some birth and death dates for this family but I do not have any evidence for their existence. I am looking for sources, photos, relatives, and descendants. My great-grandfather was William Morris Jones, born Feb 8, 1856, died July 2, 1939, married to Martha Alice McDavid (Lincoln Co, MS) and then to Maggie Lucinda Ramsey (Pike Co, MS). I have hit nothing but dead ends trying to find some kind of starting point. He was born in Marengo County, AL and died in Franklin County, MS. His children were named Charles R, Willie Ellzey, Annie Mae, Clyde Percy (called Hezzie), and Mary Magdalene. How in the world can I get a start???

My Dad, David C. Jones, says his biological dad, Louis Frederick Jones (or Frederick Louis Jones) divorced his mom, Madeline Buckley-Jones after having three kids. (Robert, Madeline and David). (This would have been in the late 1930's to early 40's. Louis evidently moved from Somerville, MA, to South Boston and married a woman from Ireland, with whom he had like 7 more kids. Louis was also known for being an artist and a car racer, being in the "Charlestown Loopers."

I am looking for any information on Charles Jones b. 1786 and Abby Jones b. 1783 that appear in the 1860 census in Old Saybrook Connecticut. With them are Henry Jones 21 and Harriet Kingwell with her husband Wm Kingwell and children Wm Kingwell 2 and Chas H. 1 year 1 month. All are born in Connecticut.

I have not been able to locate Charles or Abby in any previous Census records or an of the various Connecticut Vital records sources. I did find Harriet Jones marriage to Wm Kingwell in Nov of 1855 in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. This information and the birth of the two boys in the the book Vital Records of Saybrook Colonty 1635-1860. I do have later records on Harriet and Wm Kingwell if anyone is interested but would appreciate any information on Charles, Abby or Henry.

I have all the censuses and some registery of births and thomas and sarah's registery of marriage. i am looking for desendants of this family still living in wales, i know there is some, i spoke to one time to one of my second cousins that lives in tennesee usa on the telephone once, but she could not help me with any more infor than what i already had and was unwilling to get me in contact with any other family members, but she did mention that some were still in Wales, where i do not know but there were flowers on the graves of the members that i know was buried in pont roberts so i think they still may live in montgomery county area.(i have pictures of the tombstones of all three of them)i think sarah had a brother named daniel jones that came here to new york with one of Walter's brothers.

I'm looking for relative of Joe Jones. I believe, not confirmed, that Joe Jones parents were Edmond Alice Jones.
They were Choctaw Indians. I was told that their parents came from Virginia,
but I don't know what part. Joe married Dealie Seymour their children
were Ad, Ed, Clinton Vineta. Joe had a sister, don't know her name, who
had a son named Doug McClure. When she died either Joe Dealie or Dealie

Janet Jones (Escalon) -- A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Deegan Funeral Chapel for Janet "Susie" Jones, 46, who died Thursday in Modesto of natural causes. Burial will be in Burwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in the chapel.
Mrs. Jones, a native of Modeto, had lived in Escalon all her life. She was a lab technician for Hunt Wesson Foods for 20 years. She was a member of Cannery Workers Union 748.
Survivors include two brothers, Ronnie of Denair and Eugene Jones of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Hazel Kinkead of Arizona and Gusetta West of Herald.
