my great-great grandfather, henry armand journet and his brother edward journet married 2 sisters (Baker). They all lived or were born and had links with these areas of london; mornington cres/ st pancras/camden and kentish town/ hampstead and kensington. i believe we were somehow related to the journet toy makers who had a shop in paddington?
frederick and reg journet feature in edward journet and janet (ginny as she was known)bakers lineage

It sounds if there is a direct link as my family were from the Hampsted area. Our branch of the Journet family were also the Toy/ puzzel makers R. Journet R standing For Reg. Some off the family did emigrate to the states. it is possible that your father and my grandfather could be first cousins ie there fathers are brothers. Unfortunatly there are not many of us left that are able to fill in the blanks, if you let me know what it is/who you are looking for I can try and peice it together from my end.

Regards
Rebecca
