Hello, I'm putting together my family tree at the moment. My great grandmother was Jane Elizabeth Kauder, born London 1870. She was the daughter of William Francis Kauder, born 26 Nov 1837, and Mary Ann Margaret ?. William Francis was the brother of Louisa Ann, who married Alfred William Upton at Bromley in 1866.
That William Francis was the son of another William Francis, who married Jane Mumford at St James, Westminster on 26 Dec 1835. William Francis, Senior, was the son of Francis and Sarah, but my information peters out there. Francis and Sarah had at least six children - the first I've found is Sarah Sophia, christened 25 March 1805 at St Andrew's, Holborn, London. They also had a son, Francis Ludwick, who married Maria.
I would love to know more about the Kauder's arrival in London - when and how.

Louisa Ann Kauder was my ggrandmother who married Alfred William Upton in Bromley, Kent in 1866.
Louisa was the daughter of William Francis Kauder, a hatter, who in turn married Jane Mumford in St James in Westminster in 1835.

Imogene Adaline Kauder, 65, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 21, 2003. Imaogene was preceded in death by her parents, George E. and Syvilla Kauder; brother, Wesley Kauder Sr; and sister, Jenny Olson. is survived by her children, Toni Wood, Tammy Litts and husband, Tom, Tracy White and husband, George and David Kauder; her best friend and companion, Russell Rosenberry; one sister, Marian Marlow; one brother, Raymond Kauder and wife, Sandy; eight grandchildren, Misty, George Jr., Shanell, Marsha, Estella, Nicole, Charlene and Jamie; nine great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at Universal Church of the Holy Spirit, 509 Cardenas SE, Pastor Jean Herndon, officiating. The family will be be receiving family and friends at the church after 2:30pm. The family will be taking Imogene back to her home town in South Dakota for burial.
