Hi folks, According to a written genealogy in my family, I am descended from Gad Wyeth and Mary "Polly" Kendall. The same source lists Mary's parents as Jabez Kendall and Mary Pool. I haven't really been able to find anything on Jabez other than user submitted secondary sources. The majority of them seem to agree he was born around October 5, 1741 in MA, and died around 1803. They also tend to agree his father was Jabez Kendall, who married Sarah Parker and that the elder Jabez was born 1717 some where in MA (location varies from person to person) and died 1775 in Woburn, MA. Some claim the 2nd Jabez's father was also named Jabez b. 1692 in Woburn and d. 1725.

I have a couple of questions about all of this.

First thing, I'm wondering if anyone has found any sources regarding any of these Jabezes? Without actually going to MA, I've pretty much done what I can with this line.

Secondly, I just found a book by Anne Kendrick Walker (Storied Kendalls) at the library and it mentions the eastern shore VA line of Kendalls. She abstracts wills by William Kendall (probated June 27, 1758) that mentioned a brother Jabez and a will by Joshua Kendall (probated October 28, 1755) that mentions brothers Jabez and William. Is this Jabez related to any of the above Jabezes?

I would really appreciate your help with this, I'm just stuck here.
