Hi Robbin. I am Ivan Conlon 64 yrs Auckland NZ. I am related to John and Lucy Kew (Rivers) thru John's brother George (b 21/7/1805) who married Jane Belsham. Line is ....
George and Jane ..their son William (b 1838) married Anne then went to USA 1871. Emma daughter of William and Anne is my grandmother. Emma married James Joseph Conlon (N York) and their son Arthur is my dad.

Denise J. Kew, 46, died July 10, 2011, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT.

She was born January 11, 1965 in Berlin, VT to Charles Royce Kew.

She graduated from Northfield High School.

Denise worked at Mayo Healthcare in Northfield as a nurse's aide for many years.

She attended Barre Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed reading and trips to the Maine coast. She was a fan of the New York Mets, New England Patriots and Duke Blue Devils.

Survivors include two sisters, Darshann Hays and Katy Carter; three brothers, Dale Kew, Dennis Kew and David Clark; four nieces and three nephews.

She was predeceased by her father.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, at Barre Evangelical Free Church, 17 South Main Street, Barre, VT.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vermont Kidney Association, P.O. Box 244, Burlington, VT 05402-0244.

I am trying to trace the lineage of the Kew family.

My Grandfather was George Edward 1895 from Bexwell, Norfolk, England (I think). He married Fanny Manchett (various spellings). My late mother was named Edith Willoughby Kew 1922-1990. My mother had a brother Dennis William Kew (1923-1995).

The main are for my Kew's would be Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire.

Kew's are in my family as well. We go back to c1823 (that I know of at this time). George Kew from Shouldham, Norfolk, England. He married a Rose Buckingham c1822 from the same town. They had a son George in 1856 who married a Willoughby Fox (b c1860)they had 9 children (some I think was from a first marriage of Willoughby's - Goodbrey)One son was named William Alfred born 1882.

I have the Kew line in my tree - my mother was Edith Willoughby and her brother was Dennis William. Both where born in Peterborough. My grandad was George Edward Kew c1895 from Bexwell, Norfolk, England he married Fanny Manchett.

Looking for the family of my 2GGrandfather the Reverend William Kew FLETCHER b 1802, d. Oct. 27 1867 Worthing, son of Thomas FLETCHER of Frampton, Gloucestershire, & Jane KEW.

William married (1) 1 Aug 1832 Penegroes, Montgomery Shire Wales, the author & poet Maria Jane JEWSBURY, b. 25 Oct 1800 Measham, Derbyshire, d. 3 Oct 1833 Poona, India. Married (2) 9 Mar 1835 St. Thomas' Church, Bombay, India, Elizabeth Catherine CARR, b. 1815 Somerset, Wellington d. March 1897 Christchurch, Hampshire, eldest daughter of the Right Reverend Thomas CARR, 1st Bishop of Bombay.

William departed 13 Sept 1832 for India aboard the East Indiaman ship the Victory. He was Chaplain to the East India Company at Bombay, 1832-66, first stationed in Kurrachee, being latterly senior Presidency Chaplain.

Any leads or information would be greatly appreciated

She tells me that they were kidnapped from her when they were babies by their real father who was said to have fatally threatened her if she was to come near them again. Dear David--it seems like you have a lot of responses from other Kew's coming up to dead ends'. My cousin Kathryn posted a query regarding our relatives, except that it is John C. Kew who is our elusive English relative, not John G. In any case, anyone needing to know about NOVA SCOTIA Kew's, we've got that data. It's John C. Kew we're trying to hunt down. Maybe the Isle of Man, maybe Liverpool area. Supposedly had 'left a grown family behind' before emigrating, and we are descendants of he and his third wife. His second was Anne, and either she or they had a daughter Emily Kew who was witness to his third marriage to Margaret Anne Gerrard. Would like to email you if you could post your address.

You replied to my query with a possible birth date of 29.10.20. In my reply on 27th January I said I thought this was too young for the George Kew I was searching for. However, on reflection, it is only 3 years younger than I had imagined. I do not know the name of his wife but there may have been twin sons. As i said in my original query, he lived in Rotherhothe, South London, at the end of the 1940`s and may have been a painter and decorator.

Please help me!! I am trying to find out information about Mary Ann KEW, according to the 1901 Census she was born in Guernsey in approx 1840. Her address in 1901 was 177 New Road, Clapham, London. She is listed as having two sons, Frederick KEW and Henry J KEW. Frederick was born in about 1877 and Henry about 1875. I would particularly like to find out Mary Ann's maiden name (if indeed she was ever married) and any other information on these family members. She is the head of the household in 1901, would also like to trace her mother and father names and any other info.

The George Kew I am looking for would now be in his 80's or possibly 90's. 1920 might therefore be too late. All I know for any certainty is he was a painter, worked and/or lived in Rotherhithe in London in the late 1940's. He also might have had twin sons. Please let me know if this helps.

Hi there I don't know if I can offer much but my greatgrandfather and his wife lived in waitsfield VT during the twentys. His name was Frank and his wife was Maybelle. I know that they had children my granfather's name is Rodney Coolidge Kew he had many bro and sis, I know of Wentworth J. Kew and Phyllis S. Kew. So feel free to email me with any info as well.
