There is a Catholic Church in between in the town of Büderich. At the moment this is only a hunch but is based on some tiny tidbits of info found along the way in my search for the elusive German Kiko conection. His parents were Ferdinand b. abt 1856 Dortmund, Germany d. 14 Sep 1928 and Frederika Demmer b. 6 Nov 1859 Dortmund, Germany d. 24 Mar 1927. Ferdinand and Frederika had the following children: Ferdinand b. 1882, Amelia b. abt 1886, Theresa b. abt 1888, Frederika b. abt 1890, Frederick b. 1893, Casper b. 1895, Kathyrn b. abt 1898, and Clara b. abt 1903. I too am having a great deal of trouble finding anything ont Ferdinand's parents as they immigrated in 1892.
