I have been researching this family recently through land tax records and the 1788 will of a William Cowper who left property to Thomas's father that passed on to Thomas, his son Benjamin and the descendents of Benjamin's widow via her second marriage. It is a bit complicated so I won't get into it unless anyone is still interested. Please reply and I will set out what I know.

Hi Barry

I have been researching my family tree of Kingston for several years now, I know I came across the name of Cowper before, but as I have had a recent computer crash and I am in the process of trying to piece it all back together, it might be while, if at all, I can fit it into my jigsaw. Any information on Thomas would be gratefully received.

regards

Helen
