Does any on know of a Paul Kingston who lived in Ontario,(Enniskillen Twp, Lambton Co., area near Sarnia, Watford, etc.) Canada in or around 1887-1889. He was supposed to have only one arm and was a cousin to my great grandfather Paul Kingston born 1814 in Kilronan, Ireland died in 1881, Dec 3. and is buried in Brooke Twp, Lamobton Co., Ontario My great grandfather Paul was a civil engineer and lived in Toronto. He purchased and moved to 12 Concession Brooke Twp, Lambton co., Ontario in 1845 and that is where my grandmother Hnerietta Edith Kingston was born (April 17, 1866) as was my mother, her daughter. (Winifred Vivian Guy)
(November 9, 1900)
These Paul Kingstons or for that matter all Kingston's sure make it difficult to trace.
Paul born and was from Ireland as was his father Paul and supposed to be Pauls all the way back to the Battle of Boyle where the first Paul Kingston in my line was given an Earldom.
Paul Kingston and his wife Chairty Langtry (born 1807 in Ireland, Cork?) have been uanble to trace her family also. were supposed to have had 14 children. Arrived Canada 1840?? died in in 1841 and 8142? and are buried in Toronto, Ontario?
a Geroge came with them.. and supposedly died in Buffalo, N.Y. No other information known.
John who died in Kingston, Ontario in early 1900 he was still alive and living in Toronto. Unable to trace anything as of yet.
A William who married a Margaret Kingston. do not know if her maiden name was Kingston or not and do not know if they were already married when arriving in Canada Supposed to have lived near Forest in Lambton Co., Ontario.

this is what I have on Paul and Martha Kingston in Toronto
Marriage at St.James Cathedral in Toronto
9 August, 1850, by license, Paul Kingston, of Toronto, bachelor, and Martha JOHNSTON, of the same place, spinster.

Baptism at Little Trinity church
#532 Paul s/o Paul and Martha Kingston, distiller, Toronto, born 2 December 1852 bap 27, March 1853 sponsors: parents. Clergy : Alex Sanson.

#1404
Margaret d/o Paul and Martha Kingston, labourer, Toronto, born 12 Jan 1863, bap. 31 May 1863. Sponsors: the parents, Jane Harrison, clergy: Alex Sanson.

On 1853 Toronto tax assessment, Paul is living on Palace street next to Gooderham and Worts distillery.

I am trying to establish whether Paul is son of Paul Kingston who died in 1845 and is buried in St.James. His widow Ann is buried there as well.
