Seeking information concerning a male child given up for adoption at birth. Child was born to Mary Elizabeth Kodak supposedly at a home for unwed mothers, possibly Catholic. This child was born April 1 or 2, 1957. This child would be a full brother to my husband and he would love to locate him.

John Kodak

I would like to update info on John Kodak in case anyone should have any info. they can share. According to the 1930 US census, John Kodak came to America in 1902. His wife, Anna Sitsko (corrected maiden name) came in 1912. Both state they are from Russia and speak Russian. It is now believed that Anna lived in NY and worked for Johnson and Johnson. She is believed to have been in America with at least one sister or half sister. John was living in WV and heard of her through a friend, went to NY and brought her back to WV and they married there in October of 1917. They moved to Russell Co., VA before 1919. Any info is greatly appreciated.

My father's name was John Julius Kodak and his father's name was John Joseph Kodak. They lived in VA, WV and Illinois. My family is either german or from Austria, Hungry.

I'd be interested in corresponding with you concerning your inquires into finding more information about my family history. I do have ssn's for my father and his father.

I am also the youngest sibling in my family, my older sibilings have information also, but everything we have is very sketchy--would be nice to fill in some of the missing pieces.
