Noble H. GILLESPIE, a native of the North of Ireland and of Scotch descent was born May 3, 1859, emigrated to America in the spring of 1880, and settled in Chicago, where he was engaged in the meat packing establishment of FOWLER Brothers, who sent him to Salamanca in 1881 to superintend their refrigerator department. He was their agent alternately in Chicago and Salamanca until 1889, since which time he has been a permanent resident here and is now engaged in the harness business. Oct. 28, 1886, he married Emma, daughter of A. H. KRIEGER.

Emma was born in the US in 1868, her parents were from Germany.(emmigrated 1857) Siblings John Christian b. 1870 and Louise A. b. 1879

In 1900 she is listed as living with her parents and sister.
In 1910 Residence Salamanca, Cattaraugus, New York living on Maple St, worked at drug store listed as a Widow Andrew H 72 and Louise 66.
In 1930 she is living with a boarder in Salamanca.

Any info or leads on this couple greatly appreciated. Looks like Noble died around 1900. Trying to find out what happened to him and her.

I would appreciate if anyone can take a look and see if they have a Louise Krieger/Kreiger born in Germany within their lines. I am sorry, but the only infomation I have on her is that her husband was William Zimmerman (also born in Germany). Their son William Zimmerman was my gr grandfather, he was born in 1884 in Michigan and should be the first born male (the tradition was to name the first born son of William, William). This would mean that they should have gotten married around 1880. I do not know if they married in Germany or in Michigan. My gr grandfather was born in Michigan and died in Greenville, MI if this might help. Any info please contact me at arzgemini@yahoo.com

All i know is their names. Truman Duckett uncle Harry and his wife Ruth. Ruth was to has died in Laporte ,Indiana in the 1950's. She found out she had cancer and supposively shot herself. The last known Address was 920 Scott Street in Laporte Indiana. Does anyone know these Kreigers?...............
The had a son Harry Jr.........I do have a picture if anyone thinks these are their family member.

I am looking for information about a Nellie Kreiger, this is her birth name born Aug. 20 1912. She became an orphanage around 6 year old. I don't know why and then she went to live with some cousins. That is was she said they were. I don't know what happened to her parents. I can't really find any information on her except from the orphanage population. She Married Clarence J. Roberts and was born and raised in Wapello, IA.

He was a graduated of Westood High School and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Services from Baylor University. He was a member of Great Hills Baptist Church.

MARRIED IN A CARRIAGE

Abe KREIGER, yard master for the Heim Brewing
company, was married yesterday in a hack to
Miss TEITER of 2512 Front street. The ceremony
took place just across the Kansas line on Nineteenth
street, the couple standing up in the hack, while a
clergyman from Armourdale tied the knot. The hackman,
Frank HOWARD, from Carlat's barn at Third and Main
streets, was the witness.

It was the intention of Mr. KREIGER and Miss TEITER to
have been married at the home of a friend at Seventeenth and
Wyoming streets. KREIGER procured the license across
the {state} line, however, and after all of the arrangements
had been made, the preacher, who had been summoned
from Armourdale, discovered the license called for a service
in Kansas and refused to perform the ceremony on this side
{Missouri}.

The wedding party then adjourned to the hack, and in
company with the preacher, was driven across the {state} line,
where the brief words were said which made the yardmaster
and his sweetheart man and wife. They were then driven to
Mrs. KREIGER's home, on Front street.

Trying to find info on paternal grandmother's family. The name i've been told is Krieger (or some variant thereof). Grandma's given name was Hannah (Johanna?), married Randolph Thompson. Her younger sister Mary married Charles Curtis. Her sister Anna married a Meiring. Her sister Agnes married, don't know married name. Also trying to find out when & whence they immigrated. Grandma still spoke a few phrases of Plattdeutsch (Low German), that i can remember.
