She was given up for adoption. Birth mothers name was Pauline Lagos and birth father's name was Joe Marino. My mother has been searching for 30 years for her birth mother.       <title>Obit for Eugenia Papas Lagos</title>

      <description>Obit is about 3/4 of a page long and almost 4 inches wide, so it is too large to type but I will be glad to send anyone a copy.&lt;br&gt;Just send me an email.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Eugenia Papas Lagos was born 23 Dec 1917 and died 26 Nov 2005 and born in Sidney, OH.  Her father was James (Demetrios) George Papas (Papathanassiou) and born in Lafka, Corinth, Greece and died in 1962.  Her mother was Lillian (Ligeri) Sarros Papas and born in Kosma, Kynourias, Greece and died in 1965.  Both of these villages are in the Peloponnesian Peninsula which is in the southern most part of Greece.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Eugenia married Harry (Anargeros) Thomas Lagos on 31 Aug 1947.  This was after he returned from combat in North Africa and Europe in World War II.  They were married for 54 years prior to his passing on 18 May 2002.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Two sons, Thomas Harry and wife Matina Kyrios Lagos and James Harry and Nike Daphne Pavlatos Lagos.  One daughter Litsa Lagos Press of Northbrook, IL.  Eugenia is survived by her brother and sister-in-law George and Betty Papas of Tampa, FL.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It's an amazing wealth of info for an obit.  She must have truly been loved.</description>

All rights reserved.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Alex C. Lagos&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;1919-2003&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Alex C. Lagos, 84, of Cheyenne, died Nov. 9 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was born Aug. 21, 1919, in Hartville.  He was a supervisor of financial records and&lt;br&gt;audit at F.E. Warren Air Force Base and other government positions.  He resigned from&lt;br&gt;his job to care for his parents.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a sports enthusiast and an avid University of Wyoming fan.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Lagos was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He is survived by five brothers, William C. Lagos of Denver, Nick C. Lagos of&lt;br&gt;Wheatland, John C. Lagos of Cheyenne, Pete c. Lagos of Martinez, Calif., and James&lt;br&gt;C. Lagos if Grenada Hills, Calif.; a sister, Angie White of Cheyenne; and numerous&lt;br&gt;nieces and nephews.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was preceded in death by his parents, Gust J. and Georgia Lagos; and a sister, Cal&lt;br&gt;Terovolas.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Trisagion service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Schrader Chapel.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox&lt;br&gt;Church with the Revs. Gabriel Nicholas, Peter Harrison and the Rev. Lagos&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Sunday, April 21, 2002&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mary G. Lagos, 81, of Concord, died Thursday at her home.  She was born in East Boston, Mass., the daughter of the late Hugh and Gertrude (Gould) Ahern.  She attended the Horace Mann School for the Deaf.  She lived in the Concord area since 1950 and was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Concord.  She is survived by a son, George Lagos of Bow; three grandchildren; one brother, Paul Ahern of Carver, Mass.; three sisters, Theresa Harrison of Pembroke, Mass., Helen Benotti of Needham, Mass., and Marion Brundige of West Roxbury, Mass.; and nieces and nephews.  Her husband of 35 years, Peter Lagos, died in 1981, and a brother, Hugh Ahern, died in 1997.  Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St., Concord.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 72 S. Main St., Concord.  Burial will follow in Blossom Hill Cemetery, Concord.  The family suggests that donations in her memory be made to the CRVNA, P.O. Box 1797, Concord 03302-1797.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.</description>

      <description>My mothers maiden name is Lagos, and we are from Chile.  My grandfather was Eduardo Lagos, and was the presenter of the World Soccer Cup at the World Cup in Chile in 1962.
