Levi Lancaster b.abt.1811 m.Abigail and/or Elizabeth "Betsy" Overman(sisters). They lived in Wayne County, NC., probably in Goldsboro-Newton Grove area. A son, Paris B. Lancaster, is my great-grandfather. I have been unable to identify Levi's parents (there are several Levi Lancasters). Any clues will be greatly appreciated. Will gladly share Lancaster info.

Go to a library with a good genealogy department and look for the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy---The Jinnetts and Lancasters were Quakers.

Isaac Edwin Lancaster WI

The family of Isaac Edwin Lancaster, and sp Mariah Laughlin-Lancaster, were in IN for a time. They married 1832 OH. The children were born in IN,between 1833 and 1855 and it is my understand they migrated to WI before they left to travel on the larges wagon train from the east to the west. They came to the Wolamett Valley, in OR, than moved on the CA, and then on to Yerington, (Now Lyon County, NV in 1880 Census. 1889 13 members of this family die in Prarie City, Grant County, OR. Some of the brothers of Isaac died in WI however, I can not get much past birth years for them. Parents of Isaac Edwin Lancaster are John Lancaster Sr., and Rachel Haskett.

I have a John Dolan who was in Manchester in 1849, he came from Ireland and had a son called William in 1849. I think he married in Manchester but not sure. William later went up to Bradford and married an Elizabeth Mitchell in 1875. I have no other info on my Dolans.

My great-grandmother Nancy Jane Olden is listed as living with them and mother-in-law, as she is Gertrude's mother. They have a son, Loren B. listed as being 1 yr and 4 months? Any connections?

I have family in the Fredericksburg area of VA. Not sure of how much information you have found thus far, but check into the Bennet/Benett families. Around three generations ago, some split off to Bennet. Maybe this will help you.

If you check the 1910 Census it asks if was Union or Confederate Army survivor. The 1880 Census he was living in Union, Izard Co., AR married to Martha Ann Wayland. I have him as James Walter Lancaster. I hope this helps.

I am looking for parents of Sarah Catherine Lancaster, born Aug. 18, 1856 and died May 11, 1905 in Baxter County, Ark. She married William Ramsey Lack abt. 1881. Her parents were from Tennessee, probably Smith County as that is where the Lacks and my other ancestors migrated to Arkansas from around the mid-1800s. I think she may have had a younger sister named Mary C., b. abt. 1858. I would appreciate any help.

Marie Diehl's (Marie Rose Lancaster's mother) death certificate identies her parents as Robert Diehl and Rose Rosenmeyer. Rose Rosenmeyer's (b. April 12, 1881 in Red Bud, IL) parents are Henry Rosenmeyer, b. 1853 in Germany and Mary Wagner, b. 1857 in Kansas.

Can anyone advise me on how I can find out the reason Isaac Lancaster was convicted and deported to Australia on the Barling convict ship in 1815?
Im struggling to find a record source!

hello, I am following the Hough surname and recently connected it to the Lancaster name in Goosnargh. I have a Mary Hough, age 37, marriage to John Lancaster,age 38, 18 Jan 1898. Brides father was Joseph Hough and I believe the mother to be Agnes Banks; the grooms father is listed as William Lancaster. The witnesses were Joseph Hough and Ellen Lancaster. I also found another Hough marriage where John Lancaster and Mary Hough were the witnesses, it was the marriage of Elizabeth Hough and John Singleton 4 Mar 1886. (Mary's sister) Hoping you may have some connections to these names, although they are a little removed from my own line, but still of interest to me. Thanks Amanda
