well, my great grandfather was John Perry Landrum, Sr. and My grandfather was John Perry Landrum, Jr. John Perry Sr. was the sheriff in Beaumont, Texas...he was gunned down by an outlaw....All of the names you have mentioned are familiar to me because i have several items with all of the names, dates, etc. One of the brothers was Jeff Landrum. Did you know that the first post office in Beaumont was at Gabriel Landrum's home? They donated the land for the courthouse too! well, hopefully i can dig up the information and get back with you.
