Would Epaminondas Laredo who was born in Panuca, Veracruz, Mexico in either 1813 or 1823 and travelled to Tasmania Australia, be anyway connected to Jose Laredo.

Jose Laredo b. 1906 Mexico and Catalina Munoz b. 1905 Mexico.

I am seeking information on the lines connected to this couple. This is my son-in-law's family lines and I am doing the genealogy for my family. I believe others have already done quite a bit on this but I have no one to contact in regard to work already done. I will be glad to share what I have found on my own.

I have Mary Alocoque Laredo b. 11 March 1891 as the second child and only daughter of four children of Epaminondas Laredo Junior and Mary McMahon.
Epaminondas Jr. is the son of Epaminondas Laredo Snr. b. abt. 1821 in Mexico.
Happy to share with you and would be interested in receiving the descendants of Mary Alocoque Laredo m. Michael Hayden to add to my Larcombe family tree.

Hi. I would appreciate any info on Epaminondas Laredo. In trying to trace my family tree I have come to a stop with my Grandmother Mary Alacque Laredo. I can identify that she was born in Australia, and subsequently moved to South Africa where she married Michael Hayden and had five children. There is a suggestion that she may be a granddaughter of Epaminondas.

Hi Barry,
I was a Laredo, my fathers name was Lance. Several years ago I started doing a Laredo family tree, I remember that the name Epaponondus came up in that, I think he was my Grandfrathers brother (Emanuel known as Frank). A lady from northern Tasmania visited my Dad with questions about "Pap" was this perhaps your sister, can't think of her name.
I will find the information I have if it's any help. My Dad passed away 24/3/01 so I can't ask him for you, but I do have 2 uncles and an Aunt in Canada.

I am seeking help in getting information about one Epaminondas Laredo who was born in Mexico City circa 1813-1821 and tyravelled to Tasmania in the mid 1800's He married Catherine Galvin In Launceston Tasmania on November 20, 1854. This marriage produced 5 children. Epaminindos died 7 January 1892.
The third child, Rose Ann Laredo (my great grandmother) married Arthur Tipper 2nd December 1863 in Deloraine Tasmania.
