No relation - I was just going through some of my grandmother's papers and found her graduating class (ca.1933 King George High) photo and thought I would post the pictures here in case anyone was looking for photos of their family members.

Re: laud

Laud is a common transcription error that stuck with a family. The most common line came from Land.

I am the publisher of the Land Journal. I have formatted it after Ruth Hatten Land's Land Newsletter that she did for about 10 years. If you are interested in the subscription it is $20 per year. I research the lines of my subscribers at no additional charge.

I also post queries in the journal. THis is at no charge. All you have to do is send me your line and the sources of proof you have found the info from and I will see if I have anything to add to it. I will run the baisc info (not entire info) and see if anyone else has info and let you know.

Thanks
Bobbie Dusek
landjournal@msn.com

Charles Laude/Laud

Just putting this out there - I've hit a brick wall and his name is Charles Laude He's my 2nd great grandfather. I know he married Anna Marie Kothrade, they lived in Milwaukee, they had a son Theodore in 1885, then he died and Anna remarried in 1891 and moved to Minnesota. If there is anyone with the slightest clue about this man and/or his family, I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks!

Lydia Laud was born in America abt 1844 her father was Richard Laud she married Charlse Jackson in 1870 in Camberwell London England. I am trying to trace her parents. I have looked on the English Census but can not find them. On a later census when she was married to Charlse Jackson it says she was a british subject. So i am totaly confused. It would be nice to find out about her parents and other relations of her. Please please can any one out they help try and put the pieces of the jigsaw together
Many thanks Karen
