My great grandfather, Reverend Joseph Glenn Lawrance married Eliza Beatrice Earnshaw on August 11, 1884 at the Parish Church of St Margarets in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. (My great grandfather died on April 19, 1923 at the Rectory, Hathern, Leicestershire. We do not know when our great grandmother died). Among the issues of this marriage was Cyril Frank (or Frank Cyril) Lawrance (my grandfather). He was born on May 24, 1888 at Kinlochmoidast, Aharacle, Scotland. They also had a daughter, Margaret Eveline Vera (Rippin Delarageaz) who was born on August 26, 1902 at the Rectory in Hathern, Leicestershire, England.

Margaret was married to Rene Delarageaz on April 4, 1928 in the district of Kingston, London, England. They had a son, Peter Michael Delarageaz who was born on June 27th 1934 at 428 Upper Richmond Road, Barnes, Surry, England. He died on June 16, 1998 at Eaton Garden Mansions, Eaton Gardens, Hove, Sussex, England). Margaret died on June 29, 1983 in France.

My grandfather, Cyril Frank Lawrance married my grandmother, Carrobell Little in 1917 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. From this marriage there were four children, Joseph, Phyllis, Penelope and my father Arthur Ronald. My grandfather died on December 16, 1960 in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. My grandmother died on August 2, 1985 in Ganges, British Columbia, Canada.

Edward Samuel James Lawrance

I am looking for ancestors of my great grandfather Edward Samuel James Lawrance, he was born in the UK in 1867, married Alice Mabson born March 8, 1874 in Ipswich, Suffolk. I have found that she had an older sister(un-named)and (2)younger brothers Robert and Arthur and that her mothers name was Eliza all from the Census of 1818 of Suffolk, also it is stated on her death certificate her fathers name was Robert. I am not sure of the place or year of marriage of Alice and Edward, I do know they had a son born in 1899 Robert Edward also born in UK. They all migrated to Canada in 1905 not sure of point of entry or where they settled at entry but they settled in Victoria, BC in 1910. Robert return to England during the war and met and married Dorothy Kate Pressland in July 2, 1919 in New Malden and Coombe, Surrey her fathers name was Alfred he was deceased at the time of her marriage. She also had a brother Robert and maybe a sister Emma. My father (Roberts son) seems to remember that Edwards father may have been named Samuel and that the surname Cave is some how related.
I am looking for an old grade school friend. Her name was Carrie Lawerance. We went to Charles D. Bursch Elementry together in Baldwin Park, California. We were in the same class somewhere between the years of 1981 and 1984. I have a picture somewhere of her and I dressed at holloween together her as a devil and me as an angel. I lost track of her after she transfered quickly out of our school. I believe it was Thousand Oaks, CA that she went to, but am not sure if that is where she was. I have tried the Baldwin Park U.S.D but apperantly they have no records that far back. I have also contacted Thousand Oaks school district, but never recieved a response from them.
If anyone can help me in this search, or know her, or better yet....If you are Carrie Lawerance formally of Baldwin Park, CA Please email me at larlargrl@hotmail.com.
Thank you for your help
Karie Welburn
