Lawsons that have Cherokee heritage

I am seeking Lawsons that have Cherokee heritage. My grandma had Cherokee in her and I am trying to figure out which side she has Cherokee on. On her mothers side, I know there was Cherokee, I saw a picture of her grandma and she looked full blood. But her father had Cherokee features as well. I know that her father's mother was a Lawson and her father a Hill. I do not know any more than that. I am hoping that someone's Cherokee - Lawson line will sound familiar and I will be able to make a connection.
