Pinckney (Lawson) Adger
Hi, hoping to get some direction. My g-g grandfather was Pinckney Adger who was born about 1838 in Summerton, SC. I am learning now that he was sold by his father to possibly someone with a first or second name of Adger when he was very young. I have no information on my Pinckney's parents, but I do know that he had a sister, Annie Lawson. In the 1880 census, Pinckney had a Sam Lawson age 6 and listed as a nephew living with him, but that is my only additional clue. ANY information would be helpful.
