A few months ago, I purchased several items at an estate sale. Closer inspection of one of the items revealed what I believe to be is a manuscript. It is in 3 volumes and is typed. It is titled " History of the United Daughters of the Confederacy" It is copyrighted in 1927 and was authored by Mrs. Townes Randolph Leigh, Gainsville, Florida. I have done a little research but am unable to locate any info on the author. The manuscript was evidentally given to a friend as there is a hand written note on the front page and it is autographed by the author. Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated. Please drop me a line. Thank you in advance.
