I have found some more LeMArchand relatives that might be of interest.
I think they did not come to the states till around 1830's
I have found where a first child of Johns was born in Ohio .This was when there was a marriage to a Joseph DeMuth

i WILL BE CONTACTING HER SOON.we will try to go see her if you think she would like to see us.I would love to take her the LeMArchand file I have.
I think Jane must have died as I can't find her anywhere other than the 1850 census.
There ar a few relatives left.I e-mail one lady in texas (she is a cousin) there is a cousin in New Orleans also but have not been able to contact since the hurricane.
We live in North West Fl.not far from Pensacola.

Gloria Mae Steber born 1926 in Mobile, Alabama. She married
Lafayette Wynne, son of Albert and Annie Wynne.
She was the daughter of William Robert Steber born abt 1872 in Mobile and Myrtle Louise Adolphe born May 1899 LA., died 18 Jan 1986 Mobile.
The Adolphe side back are all of N.O.
Myrtle's parents were Charles Theadore Adolphe born 1870 in N.O., LA. and died 1 Dec 1948 Mobile, AL
Her mother was Mary Jane LeMarchand born 25 Jan 1867 New Orleans, LA.and died 1938 Mobile.
Mary Jane was the daughter of John Augusta LeMarchand, SR. born 27 Dec 1842 Hancock County, Mississippi.and died 16 May 1884, New Orleans, LA.
I have his father as John LeMarchand born 1801, France and died Mississippi Teerritory. He married Jane ?.
She was also born in France and died in Mkississippi Territory.
Aunt Gloria lives at 3351 Baumhauer Road

If you call her tell her how you got her name I've been
searching for you for a while as I had seen some research
of yours on line.
I have really enjoyed doing this for her., and will continue to search for the 1805 John in passenger lists.

My husband is one of the LeMarchand bunch.I would love to be incontact with your aunt.
I have them going back to about 1840.They go from hancock Miss.to new orleans,and then some go to Pensacola Fl.That is where my husband is from.
What is her name???Which one of the family is she from so I will know where to start.

Am researching the LeMarchand Family. Have an aunt by marriage that is a member of this bunch. We find them first in Hancock County, Mississippi, then New Orleans. Would love you to get in touch with me so I could connect you with her.
She is in her eighties and very sharp. She only had a few
names to begin with but it soon expanded to include the
Adolphe Family Falkinhumer's and Katzenberger's.

My mother is a Lemarchand and lives in Britanny, France. Her father René Lemarchand was the Mayor of Lanrelas, a town in Côtes d'Armor, Britanny.

yes David their LeMarchands in Florida.Please give me some names and I will tell you if they are mine.Most of the LeMArchands in our line came from France in the early 1800's and live in the south around Miss.New orleans And Florida.
I am looking for Jane (jean) wife of John Lemarchand both are born circa 1803-1812

I also had an ancestor who lived in Ghazapor Bengal India, and died 19 December 1858. Buried in Instow, County Devon, England. Michael Joseph Le Marchand Great-Great-Great Grandfather.
