My paternal great grandfather was named Julien Liegeot. He was born in 1867 in Chalon Sur Marne, in France. Came to the Boston area in 1888. Married an Irish immigrant named Mary O'Brien and raised his family in Hartford, CT. He is buried at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, CT. It is quite an uncommon last name, and our family appears to be the only family with it. Tracking down French relatives has been quite a struggle!
