Hi there. I'm hoping this will reach Linda Eichhorn Burke. I see that your husband is a descendant of Sarah E Howson, who married John Tummond. I am a descendant of John Tummond as well. Johns daughter, Jane Tummond, from his marriage to Emma Shaw, was my great great grandmother. I would love to share what ever you may have, and I will share any and all that I have! Thanks, hopefully you get this! Sally

Mary,

My husband is a descendant of Sarah E. Howson (Harrison) who married John Tummond in 1852 in York, England. (I have a copy of the marriage certificate.) Sarah was born about 1826 in Scotland. Her step-father was William Harrison. Sarah & John Tummond came to America and settled first in Missouri & then in Wisconsin where Sarah died about 1896. Their son, Joseph, is my husband's great-grandfather.

I'm not sure this is your Sarah since you're looking for the mother of someone born in 1853, but I'd certainly like to hear from you to compare notes.

Linda Eichhorn Burke
North Richland Hills, Texas

Leona m. Lindale died in CA

I am searching for information on Leona whose married name was Lindale. In the early 1970's she was living in a mobile home park in Grass Valley, California. At that time she was already a widow. She married her next door neighbor Cecil Mack Berg but their marriage eventually ended in divorce. Cecil's daughter Marilyn (Berg) Tong visited her up until her death when she died of Cancer. Any information on Leona or her family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
