I am trying to find information on Amelia Arrobus born Kent St, Borough,(Southwark, London) about 1824 to John Solomon Arrobus and Jane (Unknown). Is there anyone who can help with this research. I would love to hear from any descendants of John Solomon Arrobus. I know that Amelia was a very proud Jewish lady who turned up in Sydney Australia in 1844 with the birth of my greatgrandfather, Edward Sheppeard. Exactly where she was born or how she came to Australia is unknown.
