I have a line in the Loss surname. Originally from Fritzlar in Germany. My great great grandfather was August Loss(no dates) Married Franciscka Fuchs (1824-1904)they Had 5 children Laurence, Anna, Franciska, Philip and Heinrich was born 1870 or 1872 died in1934, he married Louisa Augusta Volk.
I would love to hear from anyone with a connection to this line.
I'd be happy to share what I have.

I am searching for information on Giacomo (Jacob) Loss. He was born August 1851 in Germany. He immigrated to Tyrol Austria for work in the mines. He was married to Catherine Orsinger Loss in Austria. He had 5 children, Victor, Angelo, Louise, Jacob and John. He lived and and died in Kansas after immigrating to the USA.

I am searching for ancestors and decendants of John LOSS and Abigal BOYLSTON of Durham, CT (circa 1770) and NY. John fathered at least seven children: Samuel, Moses, Benjamin, Daniel, Joseph, Henry, and Hannah. John, Samuel, Moses, and Benjamin moved in early 1800's to NY. Researching all of theses lines. I have traced Robert F. Loss back to Kansas. He married an Annie Crosby from Ireland there in 1871. He was in the military and came to Montana in 1877. His father was Frederick Loss and his Mother was Augusta Luxkey. He said that they were from Germany and they arrived in the US about 1852. He was born in 1847. Just curious if anybody has info on this family prior to 1871.

Richard Loss (b.1810) married Emily Dilts (1815-1855). Their children were:

Myra (b.1834)
Samuel (b.1835)
Franklin Ariel (b.1841)
Laura Ellen (b.1843)
Hubert Horation (b. 1845)
Frederick (b.~1851)
Charles (b. ~1852)

Hubert was born in Onondaga County and married Julia.
They had children Willis (b.1869) and Eugene (b.1882).

I have a little bit more on the family, but I am hoping someone may also be researching this line.

Caroline LOSS (b. 3-25-1837 Germany, d. 2-11-1918 Manistee Co, MI) married Julius TRANTOW (b. 7-1-1836 Germany, d. 6-10-1917 Manistee Co, MI) and lived in Manistee, MI. They had 8 children: Gustav, Bertha (Pauline), Alma, Lillian, Julius, Lena, Violet and William. Bertha Trantow Risch is my great-grandmother. All records I’ve found indicate she came from Germany. I’m looking for Lena’s birthplace. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to track my Grandfather's family . He was born in late 1800's in Essen or Koln in Germany. Moved to the Uk in 1890's was on way to US but didn't make it! Was a Baker by profession ( could have been Jewish).
Came friendly with the Rodier family in the Uk ( they also came over from Germany at same time as grandfather)

Loss' of northern IL, southern WI, and eastern IA

I am looking for information on Loss' in the mentioned areas. Of particular interest are Stephenson County and Jefferson County, IL, and Green County, WI. An older brother of my ggg-grandfather, Benjamin Loss, moved to Stephenson County around 1869. His name was John Loss and I've already accumulated some information. I am willing to share all the information I have on them as well as on all descendants of Jacob Looss (Looß), who arrived in Philadelphia in 1753 aboard the ship Edinburgh.
