Hello, my grandmother's last name was Ruth Ann Loudin not sure if your looking for her. As far as I now she didn't have a child named Charlotte. Sorry. Good luck finding her.

the search is over. have found the family that adopted her. But she died in 1976 of brain cancer. Thanks to everyone who helped me over the last 6 yers in my search. If I could find an obit on her, that would be all I want now. I have a DOB< DOD< and SS# if anyone has any ideas.

I may have what you are looking for. My half sister's paternal grandmother was Martha Francis Loudin. She married a Charles Orton Phillips from French Creek, WV. They had a son names Charles Junior Phillips. They apparently moved back to WV because this is where all their children are bor, Sewell, Iris, Joseph, John, Arnold, and Charles jr. Charles jr was my half sister's father. He was married to my mother and they had 2 children, Marlene and Daniel. Daniel died of measles and pnuemonia at age 1 in 1946 back in AKron, Ohio and Marlene was taken away from them, also in Ohio, shortley there after, I assume because of neglect. I am trying to find out who raised her. Marlene Marie Phillips, DOB: 8/5/1943 in CLarksburg, WV. I have birth, death, marriage and divorce records to prove my ties to these people. any help would be appreciated if you are of the same line of Loudins.

I am related to this line of Loudins through my half sister whose great grandfather was John Wesley Loudin. His daughter Martha Francis Loudin was married to Charles Orton Phillips of Upshur Co WV and they were my half sister's grandparents

the Loudin line I am searching for lived in Ohio in the 1940's. My mother's first mother-in-law was Martha Francis Loudin and I am hoping they can help me find a sister born in 1943 that was put up for adoption in 1946 in akron, Ohio.
I'm sure the Loudin's or the Phillips's family has to have some records on her existance.

I am searching for anything on a Martha Francis Loudin who married a Charles Orton Phillips from Upshur County, Steerforth , WV area. They had a son that fathered children with my mother back in the 1940's and I have found one of the siblings. A brother died in 1946 and the other sibling was given up for adoption in 1946 and I have been trying for 6 years to find her. any info on this line could help me find family members who might know something helpful.

I had a half sister that was born to a Charles Junior Phillips from Upshur County,WV. He was married to my mom from Clarksburg,WV. They had a daughter, Marlene Marie Phillips, born 8/5/1943 in Clarksburg. I have copy of birth certificate. Charles 's mom was Martha Francis Loudin Phillips. I am trying to find any of this family line. Marlene was given up for adoption when Charles and my mom divorced around 1946/47/48. I have a link to him from a step daughter of his in Ohio. I have birth certificates and death certificates on both my mom and Charles. Have some military records on charles too since he was in the Navy around the time Marlene was born.

Perry Loudin married Jane Phillips. Their children were Maisie, Rex, Dorothy and Jud. I forget Rex's wife but he had 2 chidren. Jud never married.

I have a connection to a Martha Francis Loudin who married Charles Orton Phillips . They had a son Names Charles ,JR that was born in Buchanan abt 1919. He had brothers named James and John and Sewell. my mother was married to Charles ,JR long enough to have 2 children by him. Danny who died as an infant and Marlene Marie Phillips who was my older step-sister given up for adoption abt. 1945-1947
Her birthdate was August 5,1943 in Clarksburg,WV Have been searching for her ever since I found out about her 4 years ago. Parents are dead and no one seems to know what happened to her.

I have heard that Jim (Pap) Loudin's given name was Rupert Clyde and it is on census report as Clyde. He was my uncle.
