hi....... i have an interest in the lowndes family of cheshire, macclesfield to be precise. john lowndes b.1832 in macclesfield, later to marry harriett carter of derby. john travelled to various parts of england including barrow in furness, derby(shire),nottingham(shire), and eventually settling in nottingham. i know john's father was stephen lowndes (from his marr cert) but that is all i have. does this link to any info u may have? regards.
