Dad passed February 2007 and Mom followed in December 2007.

I have a picture of both my great grandparents and my grandfather's siblings from 1930 in front of a house in san fernando california on cornell street. anyone out there who can possibly know this family be of that family and tell me who my great great grandfather was and where he came from would really help me to find out more. I know that both great grandparents were married in zacatecas the us census shows that masedonio and andrea lived in imperial county with jose,manuela and katherina as children and someone of 2 1/2 unnamed . My wife's maternal family name is Lozano and they are from Cali. It's a large extended family (many cousins) with long roots in the Cali area. I don't know if any of them can trace their family tree back to Spain, but it's worth a shot. If you're interested you can email her at amandika2000@yahoo.es. Most of the Najar family is in San Fernando we have had a few big family reunions there are alot of Najars. I have been looking for any information on my gggrandfather his name was Jose (Hosea) Lozano possibly born in Montery, Nuevo Leon (sp) or San Antonio between 1856 and 1876. He never spoke of his family history that I am aware of his Daughter in Law stated on his death cert in 1944 that he was from San Antonio he is listed in the 1900 census of Nacogdoches, Texas and lived there many years. His reting place is Moral Immaculate Cememtary in Nacogdoches, Texas. ?Could he possible be any relation to yur Jose?

Hi! My father visited Belize last year. He mentioned Uncle Reymundo "Mundo" Lozano, Uncle Sabino "Sab" Lozano, Bee Bee Lozano, Kooshe Lozano, Leecha Lozano (died in 1992), Nacha Lozano, Felicitas Lozano, Pantaleon "Panta" Lozano, Saturnino "Satur" Lozano, and my great grandmother, Celestina "Tinda" Lozano. I got a picture of Grandma Tinda on www.ancestry.com now. But none of her parents, which I hope you may know where I could get that. It would be awesome.

I really think we are definitely related. I'd love to know more about the Lozanos. I was about to request a birth certificate and death certificate of Celestina to find out Christina's maiden name. But maybe you can save me from doing that. Do you have pictures of them? Information?

P.S. In case you need to know, Robert Whittaker's my father. Angela A. Ramos is my grandmother. Celestina Lozano was Angela's mother, my great grandmother. Christina and Andres Lozano were my great great grandparents. You are probably my cousin one time removed, whatever that is.

What is your name? My father Robert is in Long Beach, CA and many of our Belizean cousins and families are in Los Angeles, CA. Other half of our families are in Belize City and Belmopan. My aunt Karen works for the government as their secretary. Cousin Yolanda is the one who tells it all about the Lozanos. She's a police officer (I think) in Belize City.

I am in Milton, Florida. I've been doing the family tree for many years on my mother's side. I'm trying to trace my father's side. It's so hard because many information I want are not listed on www.ancestry.com. I would like to see that change. :)

i just saw your posting while i was browsing around here. i know very little about my lozano side and was curious. i always have been.
i came across your posting and wondered if my information would help and maybe yours will help me.
my grandfather was ernesto munoz lozano. he had 2 daughters in the early 60's. my mom and her sister. he was married a few times.
from what i understand he was in the military. then later moved to the monterey bay area of california and became a chef.
he had a really bad temper from what my mom told me, he was pretty brutal with them when she was younger, and she ran off and got married when she was 17.
he was a devout catholic and despite not being a role model father my mom and her sister both graduated from catholic high schools in california. he died in the early 80's of lou gerrigs disease. (not sure on the spelling).

My greatgrandfather was Andrew Lozano from Nacogdoches, Texas. He was married to Vincente Manchanca. His father was Jose Lozano and his mother was Remigia Y'Barbo. His sisters were Candina, Annie, Martha, there were two other sisiters. Andrew and his sister attended the Moral Church and went to school there. Two of his sisters married Psokey's.
I know that his family (his father Jose/Hosea/Joseph)came from Mexico (Monterey possibly ) to Bexar County Texas in the late 1800's to Nacogdoches County Texas where his father (Jose/Hosea/Joseph) died in 1944 and is buried in the Moral Catholic Cemetary next to his wife Remegia Y'Barbo, but that is about all. Anyone out there with info I would be delighted to hear from you.

My grandfather's name was Antonio Leon Lozano. His mother's name was Vidala. I believe his siblings names were Andres, Manuel, Consuelo, Juana. I believe Juana and Consuelo are now living in the California area. Most of these family members are in Mexico. Would love to find out more about the Lozano side of my family.

My great grandfather was one of the oldest citizens in the town of Caguas, Puerto Rico and had a very sharp memory. He told me many stories about his childhood, but I'd like to know more. Since I live in the U.S. I didn't get to visit him as often as I would have liked. I need help trying to find information on Victoria Jimenez Galvez that married Fernando Garcia Lozano both born i believe in Sahuayo, Michoacan but moved to El Salto, Jalisco. Information on either would help a lot. not to much is known on them considering they both dies in their early 40's and the children were young. I don't have a pointed noise but I do have thick eyebrows. Most of my Lozano family are from Sta Cruz, Ilocos. My dad moved to Baguio where I grew up. Some of my cousins live in Baguio too. I'm curious to see how far back I could go with my Lozano roots.. say to someone from Spain.

I'm seeking is for: My grandfather Francisco Lozano's mother. Her husband was a Sanchez. my grandfather had a half
brother named Pedro. My grandfather came to the USA alone as a boy at the age of 14. My grandfather's father died before my grandfather was born.

My grandfather was born in Bachiniva Chihuahua, Mexico in 1880 and died in 1948 in Weld Colorado, USA.

My grandfather Celso Lozano was born in Bachiniva around 1862-1864. He met Petra Herrera (from New Mexico)and immgrated to Morenci, Arizona and had a daughter name Trinidad in 1905 and then my father Marcos Herrera Lozano in 1909 and another daughter Apolonia in 1912.
Celso later died in 1947 and Petra (Herrera-Lozano) Campos in 1955 both in Los Angles, Cailifornia.
