I believe they are from Germany, Some may have migrated to the UK? Lulu doesn't sound like a Middle Eastern Surname. Have you asked your parents for some family background? Good luck!

hey my last name is lulu but my parents are middle eastern but are like white and all our family i am trying to find out if we have some kind of british decent since there is a very big lulu family in the uk thak came to the states. are you from that lulu family/

Hi I ran across your post, I know it's a little old, but I thought I would give you what I know. John Lulu or John Lula was my Great Grandfather married to Glenna Crubaugh (Great Grandmother) they lived in WVA, they had 2 kids together Lottie L (my Grandmother)and Willard. He was in the Navy and went AWAL, so he changed his name to Jack Ward. Later they were divorced because he was a bit of a playboy. He moved to Westerly, RI, married Anna and had a bunch of kids Dottie, Maryanne, Bernice (Petie), Bob, Bill, Dick (is a twin)forgot other twins name, and another boy that was killed by carbon monoxide poisoning as an adult. I know Bob married Claudia Means of Charleston, WVA and Dottie married Sammuel (Sammy) Rewick (?sp)also of Westerly, RI.

My Mother says he died while she was living in NJ, which would be sometime after 1963. Will send you pics if you would like.

This might be more of a connection than I thought because if you go to the SCOTT surname board you will find a couple of Ward references. Mrs. Gwendolyn (Osmer) Scott was a niece to the early mentioned Maud Webster I spoke of. Something is tying this in somewhere!

In 1958 I have a Lulu reference that may or may not pertain to your inquiry.

Mrs. E. F. (Lulu) Kenney residing at 478 Ferndale, Youngstown Ohio. This was a cousin to a subject of mine and I would suspect this Lulu to be around 70 years old in 1958.

I know this isn't much but you never know.

Would like information about the family of John Lulu (later Ward). I have no information to submit, except that he was married at least twice, once to Glenna Marie Crubaugh and then to a woman named Anna. He may have been in the Navy. He lived in WI, WV, and RI. I have searched so hard for this man, just to discover nothing that I feel like giving up. Please, if you are a Lulu and you are out there searching too. Please send me an e-mail or post.
