I have not done any research on the Luton family (only the other side), but have started looking into it. Are you related to those folks as listed in your query? All of those folks are my family, my Grandmother is Ina Luton Vulgamore. Would love to hear from you.

thank you very much. neither of her children like or own computers. I am doing this for her daughter and I. so I would love to have any information you have. Yes my Grandmother Ada was raised Dewey, Kay and Little Robe. I don't think they were married very long. Then for a short time I see her in Kansas, and then in Oregon where she met my grandfather.

I had never done any ancestry before, but I have not been well for awhile and started it. I just had surgery on my lungs and have some time again now to do a little. Thank you for your help.

My cousin (Anitas daughter) called me today and has found some family stuff with her mothers things. When I get it I will let you know if there is anything that pertains to you. She did tell me today that Aunt Anita's name is actually Cecil Anita Wanda Hollopeter. Her father was Cecil.
Gail

Anita was my Grandmother Ada I Luton's first child. None of us know anything about anita's father. Ada was Oscar and Eunice's daughter. She apparently was briefly married to a halopeter, then was married to My Grandfather Charles T Dunbar Sr until he died in the 1950's. Anita was married to Harry meyers and had 2 children (both still living), later she was married to Dewey webster. Anita was born in abt 1913 and died in the late 1970's. I have no information earlier than Eunice and Oscar, but have most of it to date if you need anything else. I assume it was Anita you were asking about, if not let me know.
Frank Lewis Luton, My Grandfather

After several months of research, I now have proof that Frank Lewis Luton was a son of George and Sarah Priscilla Davidson Luton. The strange thing is that he never shows up on any of the genealogy web sites. Frank was born 4 Feb 1876. There is some confusion as to his birth state. My Dad says he was born in Petrolia, PA but there is evidence that he may have been born in West Virginia. Frank died 7 Nov 1934 in Tulsa, OK of Parkinson's Disease. My Dad is 82 and was only 10 years old when his Dad died so he doesn't remember a lot of details. Frank has three children who are surviving from his marriage to Dora Mae Latchaw. They all remember their Uncle Fred and Aunt Marion coming to the funeral. I am on a search for his birth certificate and would appreciate any help finding it since it would prove that he was born and I am really here and not just a figment of my imagination. Ha! Also, I would love to be able to show my Dad pictures of his Granparents, George and Sarah or G Grandparent, William and Sarah Fleming Luton if they are out there somewhere. Hope someone can help.....

Did John Luten live in Fandon, IL about 1869 or Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., IA about 1890? My husband's great grandmother, Mary F. (Luten) Clark, was born 1869 in Fandon, IL or Oskaloosa, depending on the source & died 1955 Fremont, Mahaska Co., IA. An uncle said to look for Grandma Clark's brothers in Galena, Kansas. One was a lumberman and one was a minister who officiated at Charlotte Arganbright's funeral in 1970.

Justin, I have more information and questions. I'm not getting through to your e-mail.
I have a photo of Grandma, Lona Clark Arganbright with her cousins "Buford, Noel, & Lyle" dated 1968 I now know they are the sons of Arthur Adam Luton: Beauford, Noel, & Lyle. Family Tree Vol 43 #1104 gave me lots of information about the Luton family but I still need a living descendant to verify the info and help identify the people in the photos. I'm writing this for Bill, a descendant of Arthur's sister, Molly (Mary) F., & Steve (Stephen) Clark.

Were Nelson Harrison Luton's parents John A. Luton & Harriet Clary? Did he have a sister Mary Florence b. June 11, 1869? She married Stephen Clark and I'm trying to get more information about this part of my husband heritage.
