I'm johnny Lyles--I love any info I can get--You stated all the lyles came from sc--I dont believe thats a sure thing---what info my uncle and I have come up with is our bunch (this branch is white-I know there is a black tree also) seems to have come from Scottland ,maybe thru England, to virginia, then to kentucky and to texas----I noticed the names of the other branches have very simular names, which leads me to believe we are all more closely related than we think. We have a William --John william Lyles --My great grandfather-b. april 18, 1863 allen co. ky. just a little blip.thanks

Are you still up to help? I am looking for the parents of three brothers. John Liles b 1790, Amos Liles b 1794 and William Liles b 1803. Amos married Elizabeth Couch b 1796. They started out in Spartenburg, SC listed in Wills and Estate papers. They 1830 Us Census puts them in Lincoln Co Tenn dist 9. In the 1850 census we find them in Lauderdale Co, Ala. We have most all of what we need, just not the Liles that came from Ireland to North Carolina and later moved to South Carolina.

Thanks whether you can help or not!
