I pass a small country cemetery every time I go to Auburn, IL. Since I am a findagrave.com volunteer, I stopped on Sunday to see what names were in the cemetery and found Elias and Sally Miller Lynard. I did a google search because I cannot discover the name of the cemetery to post all the pictures I took that day and ran across this post. My e-mail is llmccall7@gmail.com. If you e-mail me, I will send you the pictures of the Lynards and Millers that I photographed. As soon as I can determine the name of the cemetery, I will also post all the pics that I took on memorials there. And, if you would happen to know the name of the cemetery---I know, I'm hoping for a lot!!

Your message was put on sometime ago. I thought I'd take a chance that you were still a member. I am helping my husband's aunt research the Lynard family. Her father was Claude Charles Lynard who was the son of John Miller Lynard who was a son of Elias Leinert.
If you are still interested, please let me know

Lynards of Illinois

I am looking for information on the descendants of Elias Lynard and Sarah Miller. Elias was born with the surname Leinert, but changed it after moving to IL in 1881. All his children have they Lynard surname. I am working on a tree of all the descendants of Elias' immigrant ancestor, Henrich Leiner, and would appreciate any information about this branch and its unique spelling of the surname. Elias and Sarah's children were Daniel, Andrew, Elizabeth, John M, Moses, Daniel Charles and Katie. I have birthdates for all of them and death dates for most of them, but would appreciate additional information about their descendants.

Mary Leinart
