Lying, swearing, taking false toll, perjury, selling rum to the Indians, all were punished by whipping.

I am not related to this family, just passing on this information, which comes from a webpage called "WebRoots LIbrary U.S. Miscellaneous" The link for the site is listed below.
Joyce

http://www.webroots.org/library/usamisc/cpobdae2.html
Lynne Family - Ireland & London Area

I'm searching for any information on the Lynne family whom I think originated from Ireland, first settling in Longbenton, Northumberland abt 1880's. I have a William Lynne b1850 who married a Margret b1853 - maiden name unknown whom in turn had a son - William Lynne Jrn b1876, daughter - Ellen Lynne b1880 & another daughter b1875.
William Lynne jrn as far as I can tell was married twice. First wife unknown but three children: Ivy Lynne, Florence Lynne and Clifford Lynne - no other details. Second married to a Leticia Cotteril (spelling unsure) with a further four children: Earnest Lynne, Winifred Lynne, Ruby Lynne & Margaret Lynne.
Above dates maybe suspect as most of the information given above has been gathered from living relatives and has yet to be clarified.
Any help would be most welcome.
