Ann Masina Crisucci - 1928-2011 Youngstown, OHIO

AUSTINTOWN – Ann Crisucci, 83, passed away Saturday evening, Aug. 20, 2011, at Hospice House.

Ann was born July 8, 1928, in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Burger Macina, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a homemaker and was a seamstress for Weatherbee Coats for 34 years, retiring in 1984. Mrs. Crisucci was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown, Ohio.

Ann’s husband, Tony L. Crisucci, whom she married July 3, 1963, passed away Jan. 15, 2000.

Ann leaves a stepson, Peter (Marnee) Crisucci of Canfield, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Mary (Clay) Durbin of Riverside, Calif.; two grandchildren, Anthony (Megan) Crisucci and Alia (Tony) Ghioldi; a great-grandson, Gino; a brother, Peter Macina of Liberty Township, Ohio; many nieces and nephews, including her niece and caregiver, Roseanne (Leo) Papagna of Youngstown; and three sisters-in-law, Jenny Colla of Boardman, Ohio and Rose Morgan and Dolores Crisucci, both of Riverside.

Ann will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband, four brothers, Walter, Stanley, Joseph, and John Macina; and four sisters, Helen Koval, Sophie Serbel, Mary Tentinger, and Rose Carach, are deceased.

Family and friends may call from noon to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Norquest Boulevard in Austintown, Ohio where funeral services will take place at 12:30 p.m.

Committal services will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.

Ann’s family thanks the staff of Hospice House for the kindness shown and care given to Ann during her illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514.

I am looking for information about Andrew (Andrea) Macina (born 1868). He was married to a Carmella/Camilla (born 1880?). Children were Daniel, Antoinette, Paul, Marco, Minnie, Mary, Madeline, and Michael Macina.

Looking for information on this couple who were in New York in early 1890's then moved to New Haven, CT. His name is Laborio Macina and his wife's name was Laboria Siasconara. They had 3 sons: Louis, Frank and Mario. If this sounds familiar please let me know and see if we have a match.
