i'm the daughter of Jose Ricardo Pedernal Madrigal(he's also from boac marinduque) my grandparents are Peter walton madrigal and his wife is Pasencia pedernal madrigal.

my grandfather owned a resort before in marinduque. i just don't recall the name of my relative who's also a mayor there.

POW/MIA Korean War, MADRIGAL

I am searching for the families of a soldier with the surname MADRIGAL that were lost in the Korean War. At this time the government has no family contact. At the time he was lost his remains were not recovered. Family DNA is needed to identify remains if and when they are recovered. At the time they entered service they gave their Home of Record as posted below

Soldier: BENJAMIN GARCIA MADRIGAL
Born: 1928
Date of loss: Oct. !, 1951 MIA
Home of Record: Santa Clara County, Calif.

When the Korean War ended the enemy never returned or accounted for over 8,000 of our servicemen. They died in their hands. That was over 50 years ago. Since that time DNA has been perfected and also they are recovering remains in North Korea. Our government is obligated to return those remains to the proper family. DNA samples have been obtained from most of the families of these missing soldiers. For various reasons some families have not been located. Our government has no family contact for this soldier.

When the remains are recovered and identified they will be returned to the family for proper burial. I am just an old (79 years) Combat Veteran out of the Korean War and thankful that I did return. I consider this a very noble cause and I hope that you can help in some way to find these families. For more information on the project you may go to http://www.jpac.pacom.mil/. My part in the program is to match up the lost families with the proper agency.

I will be grateful for any assistance in locating this family.

I am sorry about knowing about of your fathers passing away. Me and your dad are both alumni of Ateneo de Manila. How is my nephew going and how was your trip here in the U.S.-Hope it went well. Good to hear from you. Now the Madrigals that were married to my Grandmother Luz Madrigal Vasquez. She was married to my grandfather Alvino Vasquez. I understand that the Madrigals were named Chapa before and before that they were Chapman. Now Chapman is English and I am going way back. The reason I mention it is because they did not come from Chapa, they changed there name from Chapman to Chapa. The rumor is because of it's english sound and being Mexican they dropped the Man and added the A. Crazy but I hope this gives you a lead. We are from San Antonio and Laredo, Monterrey and many of the families lived in Michigan. I wish I knew them all but I dont. Pablo and Necho Madrigal are the men that lived in San Antonio that I knew of. They both have passed and were cousins to my mother Victoria Vasquez Alderete. Also known as Vita, and or Weda. Very light skin with blue/green eyes. I dont recall hearing your mama's name or your Dad's but I am going to ask my brothers.
The real old story about my Grandmaother's family being really wealthy for many years and owned a good part of Mexico. Deeds and records were fought over because my grandmother's family had disowned her because she married my grandfather. So her sisters fought over the wealth and kept all the deeds and records and they lived in Corpus Christi. With years gone by all was lost due to greed and taxes I am sure. My mama was the last living and she never made it an issue. So it was lost. It was wonderful story though. I love telling it to my children. I mean really really wealthy. My grandmother talked about the maids ironing her underwear, tutors coming to the home for her lessons. She was very intelligent and was known as the first to start the rights for women to vote, work and earn equal rights. Well I better close for now. Good to hear from you and I hope I helped some. Hello my name is Nancy Madrigal my mothers name is Duvelza Elizabeth Madrigal and my fathers name is Maximiliano Madrigal Garza. Since my parents divorced when I was about 2yrs old I never really met anyone. I do recall conversations about Michican, as well, in fact I was raised there. Where are you from? My grandfather was Manuel Madrigal, married to Sara Martinez, they had 2 children Hemenia ( Minnie) and Saul (Paul my father) Madrigal. They (grandp) divorced and he (grandF) remarried and had 2 more daugthers but I know almost nothing about him or his other girls. He was from in and around Karnes City, Texas. Do you have any info on him? I know the he died sometime in The early 30's.
The name you mentioned I know nothing about. If you could help I would appreciate it.

i live alone i need a haus for rent asap within BF homes. I would want a 2 bedroom haus with good water facility, a garage, maid's room (optional), would want a garden and backyard but these are optional, nice neighorhood if not a very private environment.
