MALO / MALOLEPSZY in OHIO

I hoping someone will have these Malos/Malolepszys in their family tree.

If anyone can shed a light as to where the parents of following person were from, I would be eternally grateful:

Fred G. Malo (2 Nov 1897 - 27 Jul 1973: in his birth certificate the name is Frederick Malolepszy) He was born in Ohio and he married twice. Wife #1 was Florence Fenn (1898-1964), they had Fred G. Malo, Jr. (1917-1995)...from what I've been told by his grandaughter (my mother-in-law), his second wife was Verg (not sure that's the right spelling though).

All I know about Fred G. Malo (Sr.) is that his parents names were:

Albert Malolepszy & Catherine Fries.

I would like to know if they were born in the States or in another country, if at all possible.

Thank you,

Elizabeth Sharp

Looking at the world tree, does anyone have information on Phillip H. Malo having brothers or uncles immigrating to the states before, after or at the same time as him. I am pretty sure my lineage is in there. My grandfather's name is Hugo L. and his father was Hugo L. and as far as I know his father was Otto possible brother of Phillip? (Not his son Otto, dates are not right) The names, dates and places all right, I just can't make the right connection. Going farther, Simon from possibly Poland, how did you get that info? Very interested, I know Malo is not a German name. Seems to have Celtic roots, french/canadian also. How did some end up in Germany?? Any info. would be greatly appreciated! H.B.

Hello everybody! I am originally from Pamplona, Spain, which is in around the area where the Malos started off in Spain. After doing some web surfing, I found that our last name started as Maclow (of Welsh origin), then it became Maclou, and finally Malo. Interesting isn't?

I am looking for information on Pierre MALO who married Delphine FORTIN. I don't have dates for them, but I do know that they had a daughter Jeanne MALO 21 FEB 1986 in Montreal, PQ. Jeanne married Leonce LANGEVIN 24 APR 1911 in St.Vincent Alberta. Leonce was originally from Ste-Marie de
Beauce, PQ. I have been unable to trace both Pierre MALO and Delphine FORTIN. If you have any information I'd greatly appreciate it. (I am looking for siblings of Jeanne as well...).

Louis Napoleon Malo Elmire LaFond 1800's

I have hit a "brick wall" looking for information and ancestors of Louis Napoleon Malo who married Elmire LaFond (b.June 16, 1871 in Weedon, Quebec) probably abt. Apr-May 1887. Their daughter Hannah was born in Jewett City, New London County, CT in February 1888. I have no additional information on Louis. His wife's parents were Alexandre LaFond and Caroline Gauthier (b. abt. 1847 in St. Janvier, Quebec).

I know this is sketchy but any info or leads would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Bob Garrigus (rgarrigus@hotmail.com)
