If it is Nancy Westbrook Melone (Malone). Yes we are related. My GGF was Solomon Melone who married Nancy Westbrook,
My Great Grandfather was James Edward Melone he married Elizabeth Jane Smith.
their children were Charles Melone and Gladys Melone.

Gladys Melone was my grandmother. She moved from South Dakota to Kentucky. My father is George Robert Summers Kalwat her eldest son.

Solomon Walls Malone was my great-great grandfather, too!
He was bornJanuary 9, 1852, in Sullivan County, Indiana.
His father was John Elliot Malone, born March 12, 1824 in Tennessee.
Are we related?

Her daughter was Minnie Bacon.
And her daughter was Nellie, who was my father's mother.
My father's name was Donald Lawrence Smith.
Are we related? This is very exciting!

Thank you. Sorry, I don't have a Hugh Malone. This family moved to Pittsburgh from Blair County around the late 1890s, but the original Malones of this branch immigrated from the Ulster region to Bedford County in the 1790s according to naturalization documents. Good luck!

looking for information on frances t malone father

Hi,
I am looking for information on frances t malone who's father who was from georgia or alabama. his fathers name I suspect is james f malone (who was supposedly shot and killed around 1875 coming home from farmerville) but can find no records of it. his son's name was jim lee malone and his son was robert taylor malone and his son was jim taylor malone and his sons are matt taylor malone (me) and josh malone daughter jessica malone. If anyone has any ifomation or any idea of where I can look up these records it would be greatly appreciated.

I am searchin for Lewis Malone married to Hannah Weaver, both born in New York USA. Children are Albert 1833, Charity 1835, Rachael F 1838, Hannah M 1840, Lewis A W 1843, Stephen A S 1846. All were born in NY. Hannah M died in Grand Haven, Kent Michigan 6 Jan 1914. I last find Lewis and Hannah (parents) living in Lansing, Thompkins, New York in 1870 as farm laborers along with Stephen A S. I find Stephen married in the 1880 census as head of household and married with one child, listed as farmer, NY. Can anyone help me?

No Williams that I have discovered to date. If you traced William's ancestry to Aghagower, Co. Mayo it might be a possibility. What makes you suspect this? Patrick T. & his wife Catherine Walsh Malone might have had another child after 1911 census of which I am not aware. From grave info. it appears Patrick, their son, had at least one child Thomas. The last date inscribed on gravestone was 1986.

Without ready access to 1920's Irish Census & other post 1911 records to verify speculation, we would need to examine BDM Aghagower Catholic church records to see if a William was connected to one of these Patricks. Due to lack of access, this is one of the last Malone family links to my family that I have not been able to bring to a satisfactory conclusion. Would love to verify if their are present-day descendants from this branch. Without the help of a kind-hearted or informed native, will need to put another Aghagower visit on my itinerary when I make my next visit across the pond.

Keep me informed if you have any success in making a mutual connection.

Looking for information on my Grandfather, possibly was in the Army or the Marines. He was shot possibly outside of a bar in Tennesse. He had a son named Marcus D Malone and a daughter Jannie Malone. Marcus was born in Knoxville in 1964 and Jack would have been killed sometime in the early 1970's. Was married to a woman named Phyllis.

Looking for info about Margaret J Malone, born in Kentucky around 1850. She married Anthony Francis Stanton in about 1870. They walked to NC from KY. She was dead before 1900 as Anthony is listed as "widowed" in that census. I believe Margaret's "aka Maggie" parents were John and Polly Malone also of Kentucky.

I am still looking for connecting info. re: Patrick T. Malone, son with PJ's first wife, Brigid Mary Kilcullin. I found a grave inscription in Aughagower Church Cemetery revealing a Patrick & Catherine Malone of Mace were buried there along with their daughter Margaret and son Patrick (Dec. 1983). Assuming the only posted date was Patrick's death. So still looking for descendants from this Malone line who might have also lived in Mace, Co. Mayo.

Did Patrick T. Malone and his wife Catherine (unknown maiden name) have any more surviving children after 1911 census? Did PT's son Patrick(1905-1983) or daughter Bridget (1909), who was not on inscription, have any children?

Updating previous post with new info. Patrick T. was Patrick Thomas Malone & his wife was Catherine Walsh Malone. They were buried with son Patrick (1905-1983?) & daughter Maggie (1906). Found Thomas Malone (abt 1926-), son of Patrick & grandson of Patrick T. was also buried in this Aghagower grave.

Wondering now, is 1983 death date on Aghagower grave for Thomas or his father Patrick (1905)? Did Thomas have kids and/or predecease Patrick, his father? Did Patrick have other children besides Thomas? Bridget (abt 1909) is not buried in grave with parents & siblings. Who did Bridget marry? (found a few Bridget grave inscriptions, but not sure if they connect.)

Do we (Malone & Dillon-Malone's) have any more remaining Malone connections in Aghagower?

Go to your public library and see if they have a copy of the Malone book written by Randall Malone. If they don't have it they can get a copy by temporary inter-library loan.

John Malone is the father of Eli Malone. John would be my GGGG Grandfather. He was born in Virginia, probably in Mecklenburg. 1850 census shows only him and his wife Mary residing in Virginia. 1860 census, Mary is not mentioned and John is 73 yrs old and is residing with his son Eli (my GGG Grandfather) and his family in Trigg Co. I am looking for Edmond M Malone ( or Edward M ) who was married to Annie Spearing daughter of Andrew Spearing in Antrim.. any connections? Edmond M was a solicitor. I am not 100% sure that Edmond and Annie lived in Antrim but Annie's parents Andrew and Elizabeth sure did. Andrew Spearing was born in Cork ab 1826 and married Elizabeth ab 1856 in Cork.
