My mother maiden name was Mansfield she was bron in Newport South Wales in 1941.Her father was Thomas Mansfield and her grandfather was John Mansfield.His father was James Mansfield who came from Waterford in Ireland
his wife was Hannah she also came from Waterford.Would anyone know more about the family as i have hit a wall

I have in my family a James Mansfield, b. 1838, who married Johanna (often shortened as "Hanna") Fooley (Foley?). Waterford is the name of a city as well as a county. My Mansfields were from the west part of the county.
