I am trying to find any descendants of Dr.Thomas Drummond Mansfield, MD (b. 27 Oct 1875, Strathroy, Canada; d.17 Dec 1942, d. Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co CA) and his wife, Mabel Young Mansfield (b. 23 Jan 1882, Missouri; d. 08 May 1972, Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co CA). Mabel Young was the d/o Emma Pruitt Young, born Jan 1868 in Texas. I don't know where Thomas & Mabel Mansfield are buried.

All of their children were born in Korea between the years 1911-1922 during the time their parents were serving as medical missionaries to that country.

Thomas D Mansfield was the s/o George Mansfield, (b.Mar 1837, Perth, Ontario, Canada; d.19 Jun 1915, Hayward, Alameda Co CA) and Christina Whimster Mansfield (b. 08 Sep 1853, Canada; d. 11 Nov 1942, San Francisco, San Francisco Co CA).

George & Christina Mansfield are buried in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Alameda, California on either side of a Medal of Honor Recipient, Robert McDonald, in his private plot. As of yet, we don't know their connection.

The information you sent and the link you provided gave me the date of death of another of the children, Helen Mansfield Jones, who died in 1999. I did not have that - thank you so much. I have bookmarked it already.

At one time George Drummond Mansfield, lived in Aspen, CO. where he painted many pictures , pictures were done on old boards of which i have one, How this picture ended up in Homer, MI i will never know.
