Hi again
If her birth was after the middle of March it is quite possible that the registration came in the June Quarter ie April, May, June.
Do the year & place sound correct?
According to the 1881 - 1901 Census returns the Mardell family were living at Welwyn Hill, Welwyn, Herts. In 1911 James & Constance were at Digswell. Can send Census results if you think this may be correct.
Pam

My great grandmother Julia Goodman was, I think, put out to board. I found her mother working as a nursemaid in Kensington in 1861. The name Mardell has come down through our family as we were told it was the name of a dear friend of Julia's. Could it be that Julia and Mary Ann grew up together? I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you. Mardell Gitchel
