James Huey and Mary Jane Marlow in Bellefonte, Centre Co., PA

Looking for information on James Huey (b around 1830) and his wife Mary Jane Marlow of similar age. They had 6 children by my count:

Robert Preston b. 14 April, 1853
Charles B. B. about 1855
William Alexander, b. 17 May1857
Kate Aticia, b. 27 June 1859 (my great, great grandmother)
Frank Elmer, b. 29 July1865
John Glen, b.23 December 1868

So far, I haven't found any information on the parents of James and Mary Jane. In the 1850 census James was apprenticed to a Wagon maker while Mary Jane was living with a dentist (no role identified but not same last name). Mary Jane is in Bellefonte, Centre, PA. James is in Ferguson TWP, Centre, PA apprenticed to a wagon maker. By 1860 they were married.

Looking for birth and death dates and parent information for both.
Also wondering if James served in Civil War. I found a married James from Bellefonte, Centre, PA on a draft register listed as a wagon maker. There are a couple James Hueys who received pensions but none seem to match.

Thanks for any help. I hate brick walls!

I'm looking for information on the same, there is another thread that mentions that Ransom Marlow is the father of George Washington Marlow. I've emailed the poster to ask them if it is the same one that married Melinda Melissa and Mary.

Here's the thread link:
http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.marlow/2.248/mb.ashx

Hello. I am seeking any information I can find on the Marlow family that lived in Penn Township from the late 1800's to about 1920. I am specifically seeking any info on a Fire that which took the lives of my Great-Great grandmother and four of her youngest children. I know it happened on the Frankstown road on Nov 2 1909.

The Names I am specifically interested in are Francis Alberta Marlowe (Plowman), Clifford Albert Marlowe and David Plowman.I am seeking to trace my family, and when I discovered this fire and its devastating impact on the family it became something of a quest to find more.

Any information is appreciated.

Hi Doug, Welcome back. Since we last communicated I've discovered that she is buried in the Point Alexandria - United Church (formerly Horne)cemetery on Wolfe Island where she had died 26 June 1896. Her will was probated in the Frontenac County Court 14 September 1896.
James left home to earn money in April 1865 but never returned, Margaret and their son Peter petitioned the Frontenac County Court to have him declared dead which was approved 24 March 1884.
Good hunting.Have a productive and healthy 2012.
Stuart

MARLOW William S. 1927-2011 Mansfield, Ohio

William Stanley Marlow, 83, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Winchester Terrace Nursing Home following a long illness.

William was born December 27, 1927 in Mansfield, Ohio to Hubbell and Florence (Figley) Marlow, was graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1946 and the Ohio State University in 1950 with a bachelors degree in soil conservation.

Proud of his heritage, William's family ties were deeply woven in the fabric of Richland County, Ohio. He was a direct decedent of James Marlow, one of the first settlers who made Richland County his home in the early 1800's.

William owned and operated General Technologics Inc. and in 1975 he retired from Peabody Corp. in Galion, Ohio as plant manager. He also owned several farms in the area.

He was a member of First Christian Church and loved fishing, hunting and going to auctions.
No, I'm afraid that I don't have a definite birth place. Some sources say he was born around Maury Co, TN and others say he was born in Illinois. I have not been able to determine who his mother or father was. There are two Isaac Marlows, though. One was Samuel Isaac Marlow who married Anna Williamson Bridges. My Isaac married Mary Minerva Lynch. I think Isaac's birthdate was in 1832. I hope this helps in some small way.

I am researching my son's father's family.
In my research, I cam across this:

In the 1880 Hamilton Township, Sullivan County, Indiana census records, there is an Isaaker Hancock, aged 10, living with the following:

William Marlow-self-aged 62--born in Kentucky--father in MD--mother in MD
Rachel S Marlow-wife-aged 48--born in TN--father in TN--mother in TN
Flora E--daug--aged 20--born in IN--father in KY--mother in IN
Sarah--daugh--aged 13--born in IN--father in KY--mother in TN
Emma--daugh--aged 10--born in IN--father in KY--mother in TN
Molher--daughter--aged 5--born in IN--father in KY--mother in IN
James Markham--other--aged 20--born in IN--laborer--father in KY--mother in IN
Isaaker Hancock--GSon--aged 10--servant--born in IN father in IN--mother in IN
Mary A. Keene--Daugh--aged 19--born in IN--father in TN--mother in Tn

Rachel Susannah Marlow maiden name was Yadon. She married a Thomas Keene in 1854, who is the father of Mary. She married William Marlow in 1866.

William Marlow was also married first to a Margaret Ledgerwood in 1842.

So either Isaaker is a Grandson from William's first marriage or from Rachel's first marriage. I have yet to link him with either.

Can anyone help me with telling who Isaaker belongs to?
THANKS in Advance!
