Anybody there related to me? My grandfather
was Waldemar Marr, born in Kiev around 1880
but of German parents. His ancestors
came from Scotland (hence the name Marr).
I also have a German passport, but have lived in
Ireland for most of my life - here the name
Marr is spelt Maher and Meagher - but is has
the same Gaelic root as the Scots Marr
I'd love to hear from anyone out there with any news.
