January 21, 1879:
The Last will and testament of Peter Mathias. In the name of our benevolent father of all, I Peter Mathias do hereby give and bequeath unto my six sons out of my moneys and affects three hundred dollars a piece nameley Peter Mathias, Aron Mathias, Abraham Mathias, David Mathias, Jacob Mathias, Noah Mathias.
And i also give to my four daughters their heirs and assigns three hundred dollars apiece namely Rebecca Stiverson, Mary Blosser, Sarah Ruble, Elizabeth Confare.
And i futher desire that Noah Mathias anad Jacob A Mathias setle up my estate after my death. And futher i desire that my son Noah Mathias Receives in adition to the above three hundred dollars two hundred dollars more for his trouble making five hundred dollars for him. And the ballance to be divided eaqual among the ten children here in named
and my bed and beading and all my house hold furniture i give to my son Noah Mathias
