Actually I do have a photo of her and also her father, but it is in a book that was written about her husband's family Edward East.

There is a Montambault Family Association that might be able to help you find Lumina and also Gedeon's ancestry. I know that helped me to find out more information. They are very helpful.

Here is the information:
Réal Montambeault is president of the Montambault Family Association
If you want to be a member (there are 250+ or_-) in Canada ,Usa and France. They publish a journal( 3 times a year). It is 20$ American a year to be a member,if interested contact Réal Montambeault at realmont75@hotmail.com 209 Liébert Street Repentigny Québec Canada J6A 5P6

Good luck

Hi

Although I have a Lumina Montambault she was born on May 31 1852 in Deschambault and married Augustin Paquin in Deschambault, Quebec on July 9 1873. So it isn't the same one. However, Some of the Montambault line moved from Deschambault to STE-GENEVIEVE-DE-BATISCAN,CHAMPLAIN,QC. I would look in that area. I am sorry that I cannot solve your mystery

For that matter duplications.
Where did you meet with Harold? He keeps to himself often. I'll call him at any rate and see what's up. Yes you may sent me your corrections.
Claude. When my brother visited you early this year, it was said my name was remembered
and I was to be contacted. After three letters to the Association to join, I am dissapointed not hearing from the membership committee. Can we accomplish this?
I am a direct decendant as you are. In fact your latest addition to the Mathon line is from my files, given to Mr Trempe.
>>>>>>> Anne..Did you get the info. I sent?

I set this Mathon site up just for the reason of learning and meeting more of the Mathon family. Seem it is working. PJ Mathon

What seems strange to me is after 50 tears of searching family and finaly makeing the connection from me up the line,Not once has anyone mentioned credit for this. Until I supplied the information from Gabriel 11 down to myself, no one had that part of the line.
I say this because of the many heart aches over the years in trying to find out who my
family was.
Please help others in their search and give credit where due.
