Heinrich Matties married Augusta Broetsmann in 1887

On Mar 8 1887 these two were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Lotts Creek, Kossuth County, Iowa. These spellings are transcriptions of the original church records which I haven't seen so I can't attest to the spelling. I'm guessing that his name is either Matties/Matthies and her name is Broitzmann/Broitzman or some other variation. I believe Augusta Broetsmann is related by marriage to the Voigt family who lived in the area.

I had email with someone from this family, but lost track.
Lillie Belle Galey born in Whiteright, Grayson Co, TX daughter of Peter Thomas Galey and Mary Ellen Burch. I am son of William Leander Gailey Sr, Peter Thomas Galey brother.
Last child of Uncle Pete and Aunt Ellen, A. C. Galey died 8 Nov 2002. Will share information. Thanks for any reply.

Lillie Belle Gailey (Galey) Matties father Peter Thomas Galey and my father, William Leander Gailey Sr were brothers. Uncle Pete being the oldest and my father being the youngest. We would be cousins. Thanks for the reply. Would like to exchange information. Thanks, Leroy

Lillie Belle was my grandmother. My father is Lillie Belle and Arthurs Son. I was quite supprised to find this site. I'm on the younger end of the scale, but i'll be willing to find out anything from my father.

well i was surprised to hear from some one.thank you. ok from what i know my grandma's name was lillie bell galey. yes she did have a sister named pearl. do you know who she married? i belive it was arthur first then dudley. by the way i have a cousin named steven matties. would your dad be dudley by any chance? how did you find these things out, about the family? i've been trying and can't seem to get any where. thanks agin for sending back, please keep in touch. if youd like leave an e-mail adderess.

Hey how are you doing? Your Grandma's mothers name was Mary Ellen Gaylie, Her fathers name was P.T. Gaylie, He was a red headed Irish man. When Grandma was about 18 he ran off and was never heard from again. Grandma also had a sister named Pearl, a brother named A.C. and a brother named Jimmie who was killed in WWII in Italy. I hope this helps you.

hello, i'm trying to find info about where my grandma orginated from and info about her mom. my grandma's name is Lillie Bell Matties. She was bon in white right tex on jan.12,1906 and died on dec.?, 1984. that is all i can find. any help would be greatly appercated. thank you!
