I am searching for a Isabella McCaffer who married a James McInnis in Abbey, (Paisley), Renfrew, Scotland. According to the LDS her father was John McCaffer. they had several children one of whom was James McCaffer McInnis.
My Mcaffer's and McInnis' were also coal miners. Any help appreciated

I also live in Scotland and am trying to trace the McCafferty line (among others). My gran was a McCafferty and she married James Carson in 1927.
The difficulty I am having is tracing all of her siblings and her grandparents - Patrick and Teresa (McManus). I can see that they were married in Rutherglen in 1858 but cannot go back any further.
Can you help?

My McCafferty relatives, Daniel McCafferty and his wife Elizabeth McKinney married August 23,1894 in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Irvine District, County Ayr, Scotland ; they resided at 113 Caledonia Road, Glasgow, Scotland where they raised at least five girls and one boy, names unknown to me. Daniel, a Railway Guard, son of James McCafferty and Jane Fox, died Oct. 15, 1935 in Glasgow. His widow Elizabeth was the daughter of Bernard McKinney ( d.1900) and Margaret Hynds (b.1870 d.1892) of Saul, Downpatrick, County Down, Ireland. Further related data analysis and comparison would be most welcomed.
