I am interested in your Thomas McCulloch, as my ancestor Thomas McCullok (d. after 1807) came from Ireland around 1760-80 or so and owned land in Washington County NC/TN by 1788. His youngest son Samuel McCulloch came down the Tennessee River around 1815 and ended up in Lawrence County, AL, where many of his descendants still reside.

I have no other information about my Thomas, but my dna analysis shows I have Gillespie blood in me, and there is a nest of McCullochs and Gillespies around Blount County, TN by the early 1800s. thanks, Tom McCulloch
