Surnames: McFarland Hart Gilruth
Michael and Ann (Hart) McFarland(e) were wed around 1843 and came to Canada from Ireland around 1850. They had 4 children with them Maryann, James, Joseph and Patrick. They were Roman Catholic. They would live in the Toronto region mainly working as wagon makers. They may have had a Michael and a Thomas here in Canada. Their son, my Great-Grandfather, Joseph Patrick would work in Toronto as a wagon maker then wed Mary Gilruth in Orillia in 1878 before coming to Alberta in 1898.
