Surnames: McKenzie, Lanham, Gates
Looking for information about McKenzie family from the Hermiston-Umatilla area. They settled there in the 1880's. They were the foster family of my gr-grandmother, Mary (May) Lanham-Gates, who they took in after her mother died on the Oregon Trail in 1884. I have a picture of the McKenzie's sitting on the porch of their house. The picture looks to be early 1900's. Have a letter written to my gr-grandmother from Georgia McKenzie in the 1920's.
