My family bible was given to my great-great grandmother, Amanda Hannah (Mead) Bowers dob Nov. 3, 1842. Is was given to her by her son, Gilbert Leach Bowers.
She was married to Urias Bowers (dob) June 2, 1833. It lists her as Amanda H. (dob) Nov. 3, 1842. It lists her marriage but does not give a date. It does show her son, Gilbert Leach Bowers (dob) March 20, 1867 m. June 19, 1895 to Lillian Mae Mead (dob) May 2, 1872. There are also 4 deaths listed: Anna Mead d. Dec. 30, 1927; Selina (maybe Sebrina) Mead d. March 1, 1934; Howard Mead d. July 3, 1934; & Lewis F. Mead d. Nov. 9, 1937. I have attached the scanned pages. Any information is appreciated.
