It is with pleasure that we record the union of those two estimable young people, both of whom are well and favorably known to our people. Mr. Guyer is one of the early settlers of Reno county and has always been identified with the active progressive element. He is a newspaper man of considerable experience and ability, though for the past year has been engaged in farming. His bride is a handsome and accomplished young lady, and the ENTERPRISE unites in wishing them uninterrupted happiness as Mr. and Mrs. Guyer.

We are trying to trace the final resting place of my greatgrandfather Thomas Meadow b 1865 in Wigan.We know he was in Somerset County in New Jersey in 1900 but cannot find anything after that.
We are now thinking he might have returned to this country but are still struggling to find anything.

I don't know if you'll see this since your post is over 2 years old. Some of the family spells our last name with an "s" at the end. Samuel Meadows was my grandfather. His wife's name was Mollie (I don't know her maiden name yet). They had 2 children, Harriet and Gerald (my father). Both of them had 3 children.
I spoke to my father briefly and found out that you are part of the Meadows family. He's curious to find our how you're related.
If you've gotten more information on our lineage, I'd love to see what you've found out. I'm having trouble, but i'm not giving up.

MEADOW-Bert G. Meadow, age 76, passed away June 21, 2006. Originally from Chicago, but settled in Covina. He is survived by daughter Adrienne, son Paul, grandson Zachary, longtime companion Jean Hartzell, and former spouse Phyllis. Most of his career was spent in pharmaceutical sales. Bert made friends easily with his kindness and warm heart, but mostly with his great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all the lives he touched. Services will be held Sunday, June 25th at 1:00pm at Hillside Mortuary (800) 576-1994. In lieu of flowers and with heartfelt respect to Bert's often misunderstood battle with mental illness, please make a donation in his honor to either of the following non-profit organizations: NARSAD: The Mental Health Research Association, or National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (714-544-8488)

RICHFIELD SPRINGS — Jerome Meadow, DDS, 84, of Church Street in Richfield Springs, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 25, 1998 at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1914 on the Lower East Side in New York City, a son of Nathan and Rose (Frank) Meadow.
Raised in New York City, Dr. Meadow was a graduate of City College and then received his DDS at Dal Housie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 1974 he moved to Richfield Springs, where he maintained a private dental practice until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Winnie Renwick Meadow of Richfield Springs; his former wife, Diane Cohen Meadow of Arlington, Mass.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Felice Meadow and her husband, Dr. Michael Tyo of Harvard, Mass. and Linda and Michael Atlas of Arlington, Mass.; four grandchildren, Natalie Leah Tyo, Alexander Robert Tyo, Robert Phillip Atlas and Samuel Richard Atlas; one sister, Lillian Meadow of Far Rockaway and one brother, Irving Meadow of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the Congregation Tifereth Zvi Cemetery in Utica with the Rabbi Howard Matasar officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Connell, Dow and Dysenroth Funeral Home in Cooperstown.
